I rated this pen 5 stars because you know what you are getting with this pen. It is a pilot vanishing point “Inspired” pen. The knock mechanism engages well. The nib doesn’t dry out between uses. The nib was a bit dry out of the box but I was able to adjust the nib with a brass shim. The only think I didn’t like about the pen is the placement of the clip. I like that the clip is removable and it doesn’t really get in the way when I write. It just looks really awkward and I cant seem to find a good argument for the clip. It will stick out from your shirt pocket very highly. It will still work well as a roll stop. The only reason I didn’t knock down a star is because you know what you are getting, when you purchase this pen.

This pen is a knock-off of the VP LS by Pilot/Namiki. Very convenient to write with, since the size of the holding part has smaller diameter compared to LS and there is no clip interfering with the holding. However, the clip (positioned much lower) is extremely tight (hardened steel?) and is very harsh on the pocket.

nice pen,. clip sits in the hand in an unusual - for me - spot. just have to remember to not try to write upside down with it by holding with clip in usual position.

The pen itself is awesome. The knock action is much less noisy and easy to work. The girth is nice and wide for my large hands. The clip is moved away from the section and is mounted in the middle of the pen. It is also removable if desired. However, the extra fine nib is so bad it’s unusable. Very scratchy, very dry, and leaks like a sieve. I had to reluctantly return the pen. These nibs for the Majohn A1/2/3 are terrible. Such a shame.

Very impressed with what comes with the pen. Two empty cartridges including a plug to travel with one, a small eyedropper to fill the cartridges, and a converter. Pen is very solidly built and the mechanism is very smooth and easy to operate one handed. The nib is an EF and does have feedback, similar to Sailor or a #2 pencil. It leaves a balanced line, not too wet not too dry. The clip is stiff but usable and holds tight to fabric. Very impressive design and build.

Interesting twist on the retractable. You can twist on or off however can only click on cannot click to retract. Also for me at least think maynot retract all way on own so be sure to twist all the way and not let it do on own.
