This board was used as the backpiece for the cosplay wings I made for my 9 year old daughter. I put the board against my kid's back, outlined the shape, then used a utility knife to cut it out. To bend the board my husband used a heat gun. You can use a stove at lower heat but that can release some bad fumes. My oven is new so I didn't want to risk it. Once it was floppy and was sure it wasn't hot, I formed it to her back. It hardened quick so be careful. Holes where drilled for the straps and I flattened the ends of the PVC pipe frame of the wings and drilled them to the board.I'm happy with the quality as well as the price. The size was just what I needed. I'm NOT a crafty person so if I can pull it off I'm sure other people can make some cool armor or something with this board. My daughter wants to go to these comic cons and cosplay as Maleficent. I was able to get the wings 75% done by Halloween so she decided to wear them. In the photos you can see her wearing the wings on Halloween, as well as the board, and the wings (featuring the mess they made in my living room) being constructed. You can see the battery pack on the board, my husband wired actuators to them so the wings move up an down! The board actually held up a pretty good amount of weight, I'm impressed! I'd totally buy this again if I decide to do this cosplay stuff in the future.

I needed something more durable then wood for an outdoor project. This did the trick.

Decent for price. Arrived dirty with some dings in it and had one edge on the smooth side with about 1/4” unfinished, but still plenty of useable area for $8.

Sturdy. Just what I needed.
