Easy to build
The individual squares are pretty flimsy but stands up nice and has decent room. Good for the price. The locking sucks and hard to get off or on. Hard to reach into the back for cleaning, unless you pick it up.

Great cat cage
LOVE LOVE THIS THING. it’s pretty cool looking too and my cat loves it I was nervous since he’s a free roamer but he goes in and lay down on his own. Definitely cool and easy to put together and pretty sturdy I pick it up all the time and move it

Small. About the size of a large dog crate/kennel
There are lots of things about this that should make it just average (a 3 star) but other things make up for that.PROS:1) the instructions are both in English and with pictures, very clear and easy to follow, unlike others that leave you guessing how to position the connectors and the pictures are blurry. Very clear instructions, whether you read English or not.2) the connectors are "toothed" so once they're together, they won't come apart easily (this is a win, but that means you shouldn't gave have a couple of glasses of wine before building because if you make a mistake, it's a crap shoot whether you can get it back apart and fix it) (my mistake).3) those connectors are TIGHT. If you have strong hands, you can squeeze them together and lean on them and don't need the hammer. But they include a hammer of you need it, which is a win!4) Zip ties are mostly unnecessary but it's awesome they include them. I bought this because it was modular so I hated using them in case I need to take it apart and rebuild it and I don't know if I really needed them. I used them on corners and top layer, anyway.5) I have a bad back so taking a full-on large dog crate into the basement was dangerous. I separated the components and brought half at a time no fuss, no muss. It's basically the size of a large dog crate but can be broken into easily handled parts instead of having to bring down 100lbs at once with the "just unfold" kennel.6) I could change the top gate to add to the bottom gate because I use a hooded litter box and it wouldn't fit with one door. I didn't need the "interactive" top because she can come out any gate she wants to play with me, so repositioning the second gate to make it double tall was more practical and it works with the construction without making it unstable.CONS:1) Make sure when you squeeze the panels tight that you only squeeze the edges that are fat gauge. The inner grid is easy to bend. Broke a couple wires accidentally but they're still okay to use, not dangerous to kitty.2) I'm using 1" binder clips to lock the gates. I like the magnet concept but won't work with a cat over age 16 weeks, nor will the puny clips they call latches.3) The hammocks/shelves are pretty much just a thin vinyl. I don't know how well they will hold up to a grown cat if she sharpens her claws in them. But they will be easy to wipe clean if necessary.4) dont expect perfect powder coat/paint. Several panels had chipped paint. If you aren't keeping a rat or ferret that might chew on the bars, it doesn't matter. Otherwise if it bugs you, get a bottle of nail polish to fix it.Pictures: left is this cage. Right is more expensive/larger cage for comparison. I foster rescues and sometimes incoming are sick or contagious which is why I have more than one.If you don't expect to have to break it down and move it to another room, use the zip ties. I think it's awesome that they include them. I used them on the top layer, plus the platform and corners even if I'll have to cut them apart if I have to move 😂I recommend buying the next size up, though. Not a huge difference in price. But that's right (other cage) vs left (this one) in the picture.

Must have
I love this cage. It was perfect for my new kitten when introducing her to my resident cat. It also worked well when my kitten was fixed. She wasn’t allowed to be jumping on things or too energetic so I liked the flexibility of choosing how to design the build of the cage. You can make the cage higher or shorter and add or remove tiers for climbing. After a few uses and re-builds the black paint was chipping off. You should plan how you want to build it before you start because there were a few times I had to re-do and tear down the pierces cause I ran out of panels or used the wrong size. When I built it properly, I could fit a small litter box, bed, food and water and a small scratch post. It was perfect size.

Just as described
Directions are good. Enough hardware came with package. The white locking clips don’t work that well but the cats like this pin has two different places to lay down in and plenty of room or a cat box and a scratch post. Some of the welds holding metal together has come apart but the cats are too big to even try to squeeze though.

sturdy enough
it took awhile to put together and i wasn’t sure about it staying together, but the included zip ties definitely helped with the sturdiness. i added a mirror that i had lying around to the top to add some weight to it. my escape artist would definitely be able to lift this up and get out. but if you are looking for something for one cat this is definitely big enough and allows for enough wiggle room. some of the bars were detached when out of the package but i put them on the third level so i’m not worried about my cat getting through it. value for money is there especially since it’s a more affordable cage.

Very poorly made
I received this today and when it was 97%put together, I've discovered that the welding or soldering has broken apart and it's a safety issue. I am bringing home an adopted kitten 48 hours from now but now am forced to spend more money to get a new kennel in time

As expected
I bought this to use while I'm training my kitten to use the litter box and it's been great! It was easy to assemble and lightweight enough that I can easily move it. It's sturdy enough but I wouldn't trust it as much without the zip ties.Which is my only complaint... the zip ties and clips for the doors provided are white and not black, so I used my own zip ties to better disguise them.Overall, I'd recommend!
