Works for the Ally
I got this for the Asus ROG ALLY. It works as described. I didn't use the small piece because my m.2 drive stayed in flat and there wasn't any instructions. With a little internet searching I finally figured out what it was for but I had already closed up the ALLY and it's been working perfectly ever since.

Works like a charm
I was a skeptic at first, it wound up to be a great decision for upgrading my ROG ALLY's SSD to 2TB after all. If you know what you're doing go ahead and purchase.

Great for ROG Ally
Just installed it on my ally with 4TB 2280 ssd and it's working perfectly, I recommend it 👌

Needed it...
Having an ROG ally is a blessing. However when I first got it I was limited to the a 2TB 2230 form factor gen4 NVME m2 SSD. Given that minor problem this came in and made my gaming on the go much better. From being able to use a 2280 Size SSD the speeds went from 5000mb to 7200mb/s. Not to mention the Extra TB that comes with the size. Now I don't know if there is a 4TB 2230 NVME m2 SSD but this cuts out the need to look and just simplify what we needed in the first place. Installation is easy if you were able to swap out the factory SSD. Just insert, insert and screw. Heat sink pads in my opinion is a must have but that's for the user to figure out. Must have, there are other versions but this is the one I have.

Haven’t installed it but it looks straightforward. Great option to save money on an ssd by adapting the ally to take a bigger size

Did not work in my rog ally
The turn is wrong for my rog ally… it turns to the right not the left. Since I could not install I have no idea if it work well or not

Doesn't come with anything for mounting the new sd card
