Really impressed
I’ve never used satinwood before so maybe I just didn’t know what to expect but I’m so pleasantly surprised. Compared to gloss which I’d considered using then this goes on a dream. I bought this to paint my windowsills as I’m preparing my house to put on the market and mine needed freshening up. Because of this I didn’t want a pure brilliant white as I didn’t want it to show up the nearby gloss which I’m trying to get away with not repainting and while the gloss hasn’t yellowed it’s definitely not a brilliant white. The colour in this respect is perfect, it still looks clean and fresh but doesn’t jump out as being something that’s just been painted. Equally I think it would go well with some colour schemes that would be more complemented by this subtle colour rather than a bright white. The coverage is brilliant, some places where you could see the colour of the wood underneath where paint had been knocked off have covered in one coat. Did another coat anyway just to make it more hard wearing but I was really pleased with the opacity. I actually applied with a roller and just did the edges with a brush and this was fine as long as you don’t keep going back over bits as they’re drying as you then end up with some texture showing (although I imagine this would be the same with a brush).

Nice colour, quick drying
Before using this paint, I needed a primer, after which 2-3 coats of paint covers the surface well.

Perfect shade of white.
Exactly the shade I wanted. A white that isn't quite white but definitely not cream, a rich white. Good coverage paint that goes on smoothly.

Really well packed
A tin of paint has the potential for delivery disaster. This seller definitely cares about their product and customer. I was a bit dubious about ordering a tin of paint online, but this was great value and spillage free.
