Where we live, there's hardly a season when heavy blankets are needed when going outside. Seems you either have super light or super heavy blankets. This knitted blanket/swaddle sack is perfect for us. It's not bulky at all, perfect thickness, and it is so elegant. We went with the beige color, which is darker than your typical beige, and we love it. It was hard to put it on our 3 month old, probably because I did it while holding her. I am not sure I can see us using it on her when she's 6-8 months old. Aside from that, tI was amazed of the quality. It looks well made, it is very soft, and it has this amazing smell. I am not sure the other two things are needed, but appreciated none the less. This would make a perfect newborn gift. I'd get at least two different colors.

This set is an adorable gender neutral gift for expectant parents and newborns! It's soft and warming without being too thick. It's true to size and snugged well. I think it's a nice value for the money. I can recommend it!

We LOVE this set. While my son is definitely tied to his muslin blanket bunny (meaning this bear takes the back seat), the binky blanket and the swaddle are loved pieces. We still use the swaddle even though he's outgrown it, to cover his legs in the stroller. The binky blanket makes his bedtime bink easy to locate and gives him something to fiddle or grab. It's a well made piece that has withstood multiple washings and is just so soft.

There are so many complicated swaddles out there. This one is such a simple solution to getting a baby wrapped up quickly. It is an optimal thickness for year round use. You can dress baby warmer or cooler underneath. The fabric is crazy soft and its such a sweet item for a baby to be wrapped in. It wins so many points for aesthetics. Overall I love this product and would recommend it to parents and people looking for a shower gift.
