Excellent build quality and value for money when compared to Le Crueset. 1.1L so perfect for a few cuppas and comes with a tea ball. It’s so quick to boil on the induction I will use for water for pasta too. The design is great and it works in my guest kitchen where they burnt an electric kettle to death, and for my range cooker it’s a perfect match too. Energy saving and stays warm longer. Cannot wait to steal it back.

YES IT’S HEAVY, YES IT DOESNT HOLD TONS OF WATER, BUT IT HEATS UP QUICKLY, CAN BE USED FROM HALOGEN TO OPEN FIRES, CAN DOUBLE UP AS A COOKING POT IF YOU DONT HAVE ROOM FOR LOTS OF PANS, HAS STRONG HANDLES, DOESNT DRIP AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IS AN UNBELIEVABLE THING OF BEAUTY! Beautiful object but make sure your gas hob rack will be able to support the kettle securely, as the footplate of the kettle is quite a small diameter. Ours is too wide, which meant the kettle wobbled, which makes it dangerous containing boiling water. I now only use it in the oven as a small pot. World's most expensive gravy boat?

I use this for making stock not tea, it sits on my wood burning cooker and the results are excellent..The criticism I have is that the base is too narrow for my gas hob so requires a trivet or diffuser to keep it from tipping over.This model was heavily discounted £50 instead of £140 so it was worth buying.
