AQA GCSE 9-1 Combined Science Trilogy Higher Organise and Retrieve Your Knowledge (Collins GCSE Grade 9-1 Revision)

Really good revision guide.Good range of questions and well explained answers.Solid backup to other study guides to give variety.

I ordered this guide to help my daughter revise for half-termly assessments as she goes through years 10 and 11, and ultimately of course, her GCSEs.The book is organised very well, with a helpful guide at the front to tell you how it is structured. Key points are highlighted in blue throughout the book. Unlike another guide we have in this range, higher tier information is not highlighted, which I think is a real shame.Personally I would prefer the guide to be a larger size. Previous guides we have bought have been more like A4 size and as such the writing is larger and easier to read. Having said that, some may prefer that these will be easy to transport to and from school, library, friend's houses etc.Questions are included for each topic (with answers at the back), enabling students to test their knowledge and understanding as they go along.

This workbook is great quality.The cover is thick and durable with the inner pages made from good quality paper. The content is clear and tailored to the curriculum.I would happily recommend.

This is a super revision guide. As you'd expect, it covers all of the science content needed for the higher science GCSE (though additional work on the mathematics might be a useful addition, not in this guide).It's put together thoughtfully, with information and related questions on facing pages. It's well printed and colour-coded and includes answers to the questions. The paper is almost like bible-pages which, combined with the size format (many revision guides are A4 sized, while this is smaller but with many more pages) means that it is nice and portable. It wouldn't fit in most pockets but is easy to carry, just as most 'normal' paperback books.

Easy to read and well written

I bought this science trilogy notebook with lots of notes and mini quizzes for revision for my son so he can study for his higher. He is in grade 8 and this has all the things he covered. With this, he passed his exams with a good score.
