Great product at a great price
I would not make these boards for what they sell them for. Worth three times as much money. Great value.

High quality board
I love this board, I leave it out on the countertop 24/7 and use it daily for a few weeks now. Cutting is a great experience, I have better control on such a planted surface.

Honest review
So this review may change to 5 stars vs 4 in the near future.First, construction is as presented by the mfg. Very tight and glued well. We saw no defects. The board should ideally be thicker bc the issue with these boards if used a lot (as we do) is the glue breaks down and the boards will split. The fix for this is a thicker board or even better a mechanically and adhesived board. But the cost to custom one of those boards would be very high (though I plan to try for fun). Also, I am curious if the diamond pattern on this board will reduce the likelihood of it splitting. Now an issue: the board comes with a coating (I assume lacquer). That coating makes it beautiful, and would be perfect as a charcuterie board. However, this makes it a bad cutting board bc the coating makes the board very slick. I actually cut off a piece of my thumb bc the food slipped on the board. The solution is to sand the coating off. I used an orbital with 120 sandpaper. The board, now raw, has ‘friction’ and is absorbing the wax. We also suggest using a cutting board wax made of beeswax instead of Mineral Oil. This is what is in our pic but there are others to choose from.We also removed the feet that came with it and filled them with wood putty. This is of course optional, but we use one side of our boards (we have 4) for veggies and one for meats. But again, this is personal preference. Others may not.So in summary, yes, it appears high quality. But if used as a cutting board, we highly recommend sanding off the coating.
