Perfect anemometer
I have been using this for running sailboat races. It keeps me informed of wind velocity through out the entire race.

Doesn’t work
The media could not be loaded. The touch screen quit working it won’t let me change modes or anything. It’s too easy to accidentally turn it on with the buttons and the battery life is complete junk have to charge it every night

Great customer service...outstanding and prompt response
To get battery cover open, turn only 1 quarter to left...not all the way.We had troubles but customer service was outstanding.

A bit confusing
This unit was a bit confusing for my husband and he also said that it hardly registered the wind.

A GREAT anemometer.
I love flying drones, so having an accurate outdoor windspeed is very important. The other models I've tried were ok, but you need to figure out wind direction first to get an accurate reading. With this unit, just hold it up in the sky or place it on a tripod and you're ready to go. Only gripe is the craftsmanship isn't great. The entire top spindle of my unit broke off within a few days. Otherwise, deff recommended.

Best ever
Better than all those others. No need to point directly into the wind. This meter is perfect and great price!!

Great for small sailing
Hard to clear metrics

Badly designed
Very badly made. Both the battery door and the battery holder are tough to use. You probably need a knife to open the battery door. I have no idea how to change the battery without breaking the battery holder. A plastic tweezer might work?
