This is my review of Mofuiry 6Set Microgreens Growing Mat with Tray. I find these trays and mats to do a great job growing my sprouts. The best features to me are the organic nature of the product and the fact I do not need to constantly rinse the seeds as you would have to do in the jar type sprouting system. The first greens I planted are growing quickly and look good. This product has met my expectations; therefore, I am rating it 4 stars.

It may have been the seeds, but this mat seemed to be too dense for the seeds to sprout

These trays are perfect for a single family to use. You can take some of those trays and drill holes in them and they will work for the seeding tray.

I didn’t like the functionality of these trays as far as starting the size of the trays, obviously they could be bigger. It’s a good price for the money. they’re good to start your seeds. They’re easy to use nothing that I didn’t like about them is the pads promote mold growth. You have to put the holes in the bottom of the trays so they can drain yourself. They should already come like that one with holes and one without so we can go on top of that one and drain properly. I didn’t like the pads at all. They seriously promote mold growth from my experience.

Just as expected

The chemical smell from the mats was awful. Had a petroleum smell. Actually made both of my husband and I's skin burn and itchy. I ended up throwing out all my trays of micro greens. Very disappointed and wasted lots of money and time. I soaked the mats first and my gut told me they weren't good before I spread the seeds. Don't waste your time or money.
