Good buy, already bought a second one!
First time beekeepers ordering this. Just got it and assembled it. So far, so good. Was a little nervous due to lack of reviews and some negative reviews saying pieces didn't for right. No real problems. Some pieces were tight, but wife and I dry fit everything first and got it together in about an hour. We used the included wood glue and since we like the extra security used a finishing nail gun. I don't think it needed it but did it anyways. Immediately purchased a second one though, if that tells you anything. Instructions for assembly are clear. I will update this review if needed if any issues arise but so far it seems to be a very cost effective option for getting what you need. Absolutely no issues with build quality with our first one. I would recommend this product.

Tight fit - perfect. Exactly how dove tails should be.
I've read reviews on this product with several customer saying that it had a poor fit. Bunk! Either they changed the tool head or these folks don't know what they are talking about. The fit is tight for a reason. Use a glue brush and some clamps and build the box. No need to see which one fits where. They all fit. I purchased two 8 frame and one 10 frame. All the same. Recommend you use a jig for the comb sections when you glue and staple them so they set up straight. Great product. Will buy again if needed.Go Navy beat Army.

missing and broken parts
There was no inner cover, and one top slat was broken off, the piece that broke off was gone. Now, I'll have to drive, sixty miles, to fix it.Should have known better, than to buy a beehive, on line.

Sorta worth the money if you have time to fix things
Pros- Loved the price, the black trays vs white ones, everything was in the box like it was suppose to be, came with instructions which were easy to follow.Cons- poor craftsmanship, cuts were off on the outer box which made some of the wood split and several boards came warped. 😔 such big gaps that i need to clamp the boxes, glue and nail them and in some spots that won’t be enough, I’ll need to use caulk or wood filler.

Great product!
I'm a first time beekeeper and this hive was super easy to put together and well made! It's very sturdy, and I had almost no issue putting them together, minus one little split in one of the tails. There was a bottle of wood glue included which I really appreciated, but I finished it off with the nail gun just to make sure it can withstand the Florida weather over time. I will be ordering again!

Very Nice for the Price!
I am very pleased with the materials and the workmanship. Everything went together as I had hoped it would. The lumber used was of very good quality and the packaging was spot on. After looking for, and at, several other Hives I felt and still now feel these were the best deal. These hives were made be people who still take pride in their work and want to be known for their quality items.

Disappointed
I purchased three of these. Upon opening the boxes I found the wood to be damp and swollen. I laid the components indoors, overnight, to dry. The next day when I went to begin assembly I found several sides of the boxes warped. The boxes still didn't fit together properly and a lot of sanding and filing were required. One box had a cracked piece across the top 3/4" down that I ended up gluing and nailing together. The fames looked like they had been cut with an old saw in desperate need of sharpening. Cuts were not clean and there were a lot of splinters. Wood is a poor quality pine, very porous. I won't be purchasing this brand again.

Very well built!
Very good quality kit! Every part fits like a glove. If you are going to be putting several of these together, I would invest in a brad nailer and an air compressor! I already had these, and if you do, then you won't need to use the glue, unless you are OCD. Lol! Very good buy!
