My first foldable - some early thoughts
This Google Pixel Fold replaced my trusty Samsung Galaxy S10, which has given five years of great service but is now on its last legs due to the battery only lasting a few hours and wear and tear such as the power button becoming loose.I was a bit wary about buying a 'renewed' foldable as they are more fragile than candybar phones and there's a lot more that can go wrong. Thankfully this one, although described as 'good' condition, was pretty much perfect apart from a few scratches on top side of the metal spine. The front and inner screens, back panel and camera bar were immaculate. The display has no scratches or flaws and the hinge opens smoothly, although its design means you have to use a bit of effort to prise it open,Personally I prefer this phone to the Galaxy Fold Z series as the cover display is more usable, being closer to a standard smartphone shape. When opened the inner screen is a landscape shape rather than the squarish one on the Z Fold.The only downside for me is that the phone is very heavy and feels vulnerable to being dropped.Overall I'm very happy with the phone. A year ago this would have been £1,700 new which I think is far too much but it's very good value at refurbished prices.

The Google pixel fold arrived absolutely flat not enough power to just lightup Could not charge it up because charger and lead supplied was not compatible looks like an Apple lead. Got lead but car wouldn't charge it. The phone itself is as described in good condition.It is for a Christmas gift so just hoping the battery and screen are satisfactory.

Big text good battery life
Nice big text for my old eyes even on status bar.Battery good for 15hrs screen on time light browsing/scrolling.Slow charging from 80% and only max 4000ma charging below that.Easy in the hand.Bezels around inner screen stop my thumbnails piercing screen.In spite of this best keep nails short!
