Neat Stuff!
I’m only like 40% of the way through these so I guess I can’t give a fully informed review, but they’re good. I like a story that doesn’t end because then it’s like the characters become a part of your life. Did that sound sad? I have real friends too.

Good series, good condition.
Great series (though parts of the books can get a little repetitive). The books we received were in good condition. Two sets of three came in box sets.

Addictive! I had to buy the whole series
I'm so glad I bought this as a Christmas present to myself! It's easier to read than Tolkien or George RR Martin's Gane of Thrones series without sacrificing descriptions it's enveloping scenery, rich history, or action! If you loved Game of Thtones or Dune you should give these a try.

Pretty Good Series, After a Slow Start
Fifteen books was a daunting challenge for me, but I knew I'd feel compelled to read the entire series if I liked the first book, so I shelled out for it, and the full set sat in my back office for over a year before I decided to tackle it.The first half of the first book was a heavy slog until I was familiar enough with the characters to engage with them. However, once I had done so, I spent way too much time gorging myself on these books as opposed to attending to other life responsibilities, among them sufficient sleep. Some of the chief characters are annoyingly immature, especially early in the story, but I suppose that makes them more realistic, and they do mostly grow gradually into tolerable human beings. I've known plenty of annoyingly immature people in real life that may or may not have grown more mature as their stories progressed. I know of a few who definitely did not.As seems to always be the case, the books are better than Amazon's treatment of the story. It's probably better that I saw season one of the Amazon series before I read the books. I liked season one pretty well, but am retrospectively annoyed with narrative choices that seem lazy, non-sensical, or warped to fit cultural ideals presumably of those involved in the adaptation.Overall, I am very happy to have read this series. I wish the story was being more faithfully traced in the Prime Video version.
