Well, at age 71, and living in Wisconsin, I have become that woman and I'm proud of it. I wrap myself in this wonderful throw every night this winter. It's amazing: warm, soft, and beautiful. I haven't been so happy with a purchase in a long time. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth it. I recommend it for anyone at any age! I'm a gerontologist so I don't mind talking about aging. I don't feel old when wrapped up in this throw -- just cozy and happy.

What a wonderful blanket, it is the perfect upscale wool blanket for a gift or for yourself. Gave this recently for a gift to my mother and it was just perfect for the cold winter of northern michigan. Its a pretty penny to buy but the quality cant be beat. Worth it!

Beautiful, warm, elegant and soft.I was looking for something thick and light to keep warm in the evening. This is perfect. It’s not too thick but it is warm and has the comfortable wool softness of merino and cashmere. I wish it came in even larger size. I bought it to compare with another thinner merino blanket and an alpaca one. The thinner one is not warm enough and the alpaca sheds too much. This is the best of all worlds.
