M65 Field Jacket Men Military Olive Green Cotton Vintage US Army Field Jackets

I was not to sure how this jacket was going to fit. Very happy with it.

Not at all similar to the original. First and foremost, someone really needs to explain to these people that the zipper doesn't install the way they put these on. The zipper pull tab goes on the right side not the left side. I see this all the time when I order Chinese made clothing with zippers on them. This is extremely irritating to me to zip up. I'm tired of incorrectly sewn on zippers and misrepresented sizes too. Back to the jacket, the material is completely different, the inside sewn in material is not the same either. The folded up cuffs, what the hell? The sewn on US Flag, that really sucks. My wife is a career seamstress, she removed it, there is torn material beneath it from the prior sewing on of the emblem. Now a obvious rip in the material due to this mistake. This is a poor clone, very poor. Amazon should not be selling, or allowing this to be sold on their web site. Someone doesn't care what's being sold here any more. Pull this junk off Amazon.

Seems comfortable but not as military as I had hoped.Exterior of jacket may be cotton, but not heavy-duty. Interior lining is not cotton but synthetic black (the picture suggests it is green, a closer look indicates it is hidden by a mannequin underneath or colorized). Flag patch had 59 Stars on it (I removed it). They suggest hand wash only. I imagine only line dry (don't know what that might tell you). Probably best used as a light jacket/windbreakerWill do for what I want.

Not what I expected.

Rec. and my thoughts is that it is not a little bite the quality that my field jacket was when I was in the Army in 1970. Very misleading statements in the description. The material is so thin that I have dress shirts that are stronger material.Also when I rec. this jacket the bottom snap was already broken and can't work at all.All I want to do is worn other Veterans that don't expect what we had in the service!I want to return and get my money back.Darryl Brumfield

Great coat. For a long time it was all I had on my back. Held up through many temporary jobs, like working at car washes. Might get you the hairy eyeball though. Wouldn't recommend wearing it while drifting from town to town in the Pacific Northwest.

Husband says it is stiff and tight in XL which is size he wears.

If your looking for the John Rambo jacket, this ain't it. not like the image. At all. The American flag is gigantic. NOT THE SAME not an M65.
