Pros: [relatively] easy to use. Ability to interface with PC reduces data-entry chores.Cons: Poor accuracy: according to the provided standards, this unit is inaccurate by 4-10%, without any consistency. Unit can only calibrate to zero. I've had similar coating thickness testers from Extech before, and they were able to calibrate to the included thickness standards, not just zero thickness.Due to the inability to accurately calibrate to the included standards, I would not recommend this unit.
