Given as a birthday gift, my son had one and his broke the night he got it. Since it was a gift I can't return it, but im disappointed and really hope the one given to his friend didn't break as easily. Yes, I can fix it, but the chain shouldn't brake a couple hours in.

My daughter is so happy. She loves cats and has many best friends. This was perfect for both. Done well and a nice quality design. Material is weighted but not heavy. It is a larger piece so it’s not dainty. The fit Btwn the two is perfect. Characters face is done well. Color is silver tone. Durable with adjustability. So sweet for best friends or someone special. Great value.

I honestly didn't know what to expect with these necklaces. I have two daughters, so we've purchased a lot of these BFF-style necklaces over the years. They've ranged in quality from good to cheap-looking and easy to break. We've never owned any that we've truly loved. Or at least, we didn't until now.The necklaces are impressive. The first thing I noticed when I pulled them out of the package was that they were heavy. They're not heavy enough to pull on my daughters' necks, but they are quality-heavy rather than cheap jewelry weight. Presentation boxes aren't included, but the necklaces are individually wrapped and come with a velvet pouch. This was my only area of disappointment with these necklaces. I wish the company had provided two pouches for those of us who want to give these to two separate people rather than keeping one for ourselves. That said, these necklaces are such a great value that it's hard to complain about needing to scrounge up a second pouch.The chains for these necklaces are thick, well-constructed, and will be hard to break easily. They also have more than one connection point option in the back, so you can change the length of the necklaces. The cats are thick with distinct features (that don't photograph well but are clear in real life). They're very pretty, and the shiny metal adds a sparkle that elevates the necklaces beyond the usual BFF necklace charm.The magnets that connect the cats work surprisingly well, too. They connect easily and don't come apart without a solid tug. Don't get me wrong, they aren't difficult to get apart, but they don't fall apart with the slightest movement.It would be an understatement to say these necklaces were a hit when my daughters put them on this morning. They absolutely LOVE them. My oldest (who loves puppies, while my youngest loves kittens) has already requested that I purchase another one if/when the company comes out with a puppy and kitty pairing. I'm so thrilled with these necklaces that I'll have no problem honoring that request.
