The product comes with instructions of how to care for the item, but even though the instructions state to refer to the manual for cooking times, no manual is included. I searched the internet, but could not find anything about cooking times. After paying nearly $30 for the item, I am not inclined to learn to use it by trial and error.

I’m thoroughly impressed with this microwave sandwich maker! From the moment I received it, I knew I had made an excellent choice. The build quality of the grill is exceptional.What I like most about this product is its incredible speed for cooking in the microwave. I have tried it making a sandwich, a hamburger and they tasted great. I use it to make a quick meal before school for my kids and to use it at work.In short, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for quality, durability and speed in one item. I could not be more pleased with my purchase and will definitely purchase products from this seller again in the future.

Don't buy this junk!!!! It comes with no instructions of cooking recommendations. You have to go on YouTube to find anything. After washing it before using it, where it left small black beads on the wash cloth, my wife tried to make a grilled cheese sandwich.Within 3 min it began to smoke up the kitchen and left a smell in my microwave that I can't get out. This item smelled so bad I took it out and put it in the trash can. I didn't even want to try and wrap it to send it back. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

If you buy a product it should include directions for use and I saw online these are supposed to come with recipes. Nothing in the box??? Why??

Save your money. Tried making a grilled cheese sandwich and ended up with very mushy bread with cheese inside. Doesn't get hot enough. As an experiment, I put it in the microwave for 4 minutes with nothing in the sandwich maker, and I still could touch the metal without getting burnt. Perhaps if it was preheated for 5 to 10 minutes it might work. Next time I want a grilled cheese, I will go back to the frying pan on the stove. BTW, my microwave is an 1100 watt unit.

Should have read comments. Was just looking for a sandwich maker for college dorm. This definitely isn’t the one to buy! Soggy bread and melted cheese. Second attempt we Tried 4 minutes and the crust was a rock but bread was soggy. Save your money!

Completely inedible! As you can see it does not toast! The crust got so hard I couldn’t break it, the cheese bubbled out of the sandwich! I followed the instructions to a tee and this thing is a total scam

This is a cool little item for the kitchen and I am not a kitchen gadget person. My husband loves microwaving his sandwiches and making quesadillas in the microwave, which I think is disgusting. I do love a good grilled cheese sandwich, but I hate cleaning the pan afterwards. This little gadget pretty much wipes clean, but also goes in the dishwasher safely. I took one star away because the “crispy” part of the product description isn’t accurate. The “grill marks” are more like impressions and the sandwich is definitely not crispy. The edges are a bit hard like microwaved things tend to get. I even tried to make 2 sandwiches at once, which actually turned out well, my husband was pleased. The cheese melted over the edge of the aluminum plate on even the single sandwich try. Overall I would say this is a good product, especially for someone who does not like to cook, or has very limited space.
