This is exactly what I needed to keep my arm elevated to reduce swelling in a stroke affected hand. As anyone with this condition knows, the hand swelling causes severe pain and severely limits the possibility of trying to exercise the hand. The hand needs to be kept elevated most of the time to avoid this. Regular pillows don't really help anywhere near as much as this grooved arm elevator. The shape of it and extras it has make it far more effective. Sometimes things I buy on Amazon are not always what they promise to be, but this item was exactly as it was described. I gove it a 5 out of 5. There are other similar arm elevation pillows on Amazon BUT they often don't have the gel pack, the extra gel insert pillow, or the elbow rest. Those features are what makes this hand elevation device better than the rest. When we opened the plastic, the pillow quickly snapped into the proper shape and size which tells me that the materials used are quality. The outer cover is very soft and comfortable. They used the perfect material to cover it. The size is perfect.

The best thing I did for myself for recovery after surgery (along with delivered meals). This pillow allows me to rest and SLEEP comfortably. It’s soft and very light, easy to carry room to room. I don’t need the elbow add on. Could have just gotten the main piece. Highly recommend.

Used by my son after wrist injury and surgery. It was comfortable and the ability to insert cooling packs was useful.

Super soft fabric. Very comfortable. Ice pack is awesome. Minor issue with extender that velcros on to the end- would like a little more stability, but I guess with Velcro, that is a little difficult. Overall, would definitely recommend.

The elevated pillow works great to reduce swelling. My husband had wrist surgery so the need to elevate his hand was necessary. The pillow is well made and has been very helpful. I recommend using after surgery. Thanks!

When the product arrived I was a little skeptical because it was wrapped tight and when I opened up 5he package everything was flat but after a few hours things plumped up. It was for my wife and she is very happy with it. Happy wife happy life

I ordered this for added comfort for my upcoming wrist surgery and it was amazing how it kept my arm propped and aligned so it would not flop to the side and risk hurting it. It helped me sleep comfortably at night and have no complaints about it.
