Nivea Skin & Stubble Moisturiser – Lovely, Refreshing Gel Consistency & Gentle on Shaved Skin
This small tube of moisturiser arrived in a branded cardboard box and contains 50ml of face moisturiser in a squeezy tube with a flip open lid. The moisturiser has a lightweight gel like consistency which is clear in colour and is suitable for sensitive skin and daily use. I ordered this this my partner for using on his face after shaving with his electric shaver, and he is pleased that it suits his sensitive skin without causing any adverse reactions, irritation or unwanted breakouts.The moisturiser contains vitamin E, provitamin B5 and chamomile extract to relief skin from burning, dryness, redness, tightness and itchiness. It feels very lightweight, absorbs very quickly without having to spend time massaging a cream in and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. It has a light, pleasant fragrance and effectively cools the skin, keeping it hydrated for a good amount of time after application.Priced at £6.82 at the time of reviewing, this is a lovely, simple moisturiser aimed towards men, which personally I think is very good value for money, particularly since you don’t need a lot of it. However, its size does suggest that it is ideal for travel rather than the moisturiser you use every day at home. The gel soothes the skin effectively and softens prickly stubble, and since it is alcohol free, doesn’t sting when you apply it to your cleansed skin. I would definitely recommend this moisturiser as my partner is very happy with it, and it has left his skin feeling very soft and hydrated.

Just wish it was bigger!
I went away from my usual product and gave thos a try and was pleasantly surprised. It absorbes very well and didn't leave me feeling greasy, just well hydrated and stopped my dry skin that I get through my stubble.My only issue was the size of it. I guess I should have double checked but I was just expecting it to be a bit bigger. Moisturiser in general is expensive and this is good value for money quality wise I just wanted more for my money size wise.

Cooling effect and makes skin feel good
This moisturiser comes in a squeezy tube and on application its not thick. I do like how easy it is to spread on, it does not run and you can easily apply.It doesn't really have a defining or strong smell, which in my opinion is a good thing. It does have an undercurrent of a sort of clean smell but this is only really sniffing close up and even then its just notes.I guess the most important aspect though is how it feels and it works well, my skin does feel better, it seems to have a cooling effect on the skin. I would say that it is good if you, like me, have sensitive skin, especially when you shave and this does seem to cool that friction feeling.It is not something I had considered using before but now I have tried it I do actually like it and have suffered no ill effects or irritations from using it, quite the opposite in fact.I like it and it really good feel nice on my skin, cooling it. Having never used a moisturiser before I understand now the benefits and it's well worth trying if your skin feels harsh, rough or sore.

Doesn't feel especially moisturing
I'm not sure about this product so far.. I use Nivea moisturiser products every day so welcomed the change to test this. First thing is that it absorbs well and doesn't leave any clumpy bits like you can get on stubble otherwise. However, after a few hours it feels it's done it's bit and my skin feels a bit tighter.

Great for sensitive skin
My husband has sensitive skin and suffers a lot during the winter with dry skin. He's been using this moisturiser for a couple of months now and I can see the difference. It causes no irritation and keeps his skin hydrated and looking good.

Excellent for post shave
I've been a huge fan of Nivea products for years and have tried many different shower gels, deodorants, roll-ons, moisturisers, you name it.Just like every other, this one has impressed me. First off have to say they've nailed the scent with this one. I usually find that most moisturisers either smell like nothing or they smell off. This one smells simply divine. Very fresh. Something I actually look forward to applying now.Speaking of applying it's super easy to do and a little goes a long way. Spreads evenly and with no residue. Had no issues with skin flare ups either. It's sensitive ingredients definitely work in that sense. I've been using it post shave and it's been fantastic at soothing razor burns. Plus with the additional fantastic scent mentioned it all adds up to a lovely experience.An excellent showing from Nivea that I now greatly look forward to using as part of my shaving routine. 5*!

A bit like me- sensitive, simple, but nothing special
I’m a fan of Nivea creams generally, I tend to find them sensitive and simple but effective. But compared to the ever-reliable and far cheaper Nivea Creme, I can’t quite see what’s special about this moisturiser that would justify the much higher price tag by volume. It’s a gel rather than a cream, which in itself is perhaps slightly more masculine, and compared to moisturising your face with the cream, there’s a little bit less white residue to rub in or wipe off- but the results are effectively the same, and I haven’t been able to get this gel to do anything that other creams or aftershave balms won’t do.There’s certainly nothing wrong with it. It’s got that typical Nivea scent, which is a vague sweet cream scent that’s nothing in particular, and it’s very easy to use and apply. It is soothing on the face, and does pair well with an alcohol-based aftershave to give that refreshing sting-then-relief that can really wake you up in the morning.A 50ml bottle is convenient for travel I suppose, but at the current asking price of ten quid, 50ml seems like a particularly ungenerous amount. So it’s not something I can recommend for home use, simply because of the other options available, both from Nivea and other brands. It will however be handy in my travel bag, so that’s why I’m giving it four stars.
