Simple To Use Mobile Phone
Bought this phone for my parents. They didn't want the internet, just a phone. It is clear and easy to use. Good volume. Simple ringtones. Large font, so they can see their contact list. The charging cradle is also good, they can pop it back in the cradle to charge rather than try and fiddle with a small usb port.Overall, I'd say this is an excellent simple to use mobile phone that is just a phone, nothing fancy and similar to their old home phone. The reason for buying this is because they had become restricted by their home phone, the bills had become very expensive £60+ per month in which phoning mobile numbers wasn't included hence even more expense. By purchasing this simple mobile phone we have managed to buy a sim only contract for them for just £6 a month, which is saving them a massive £54 a month and now they can phone mobile numbers too at no extra cost.

Easy to use/setup. Unlocked. Has a lovely crisp display & clear sound :)
Bought as a birthday gift for my 82 year old mum, who is already used to an older Doro clam shell style phone. Nothing wrong with the other one, just that it's Black, which she's never liked, plus it's 2G, which is being phased out eventually. So, she'd rather have a new one (in a lovely Red colour) before the switch off so she can get used to it.I can confirm it's unlocked, ready to accept her existing sim card, as we took out her old micro sim and simply popped it into this one. It's a little fiddly for arthritic fingers, so is getting the back removed in the first place. But after a little perseverance we were up and ready to tailor the phone just for her. She's very pleased the screen is slightly larger than her old one. The text is much clearer, as is the sound quality. She can actually hear me on this one! Has the same hideous ringtones and wallpapers (and camera) though! I downloaded her preferred theme on my phone and transferred to her handset via Bluetooth, which can be turned on or off, as required. The instructions say you can do this via USB through your PC, however, a lead isn't included for this. FYI This downloaded ringtone is stored on the Micro SD/Memory card she already had, as her previous Doro's haven't had a lot of internal memory. It's easy to use, the keys are responsive, and it still has the reassurance of an 'SOS' feature button on the rear, which can be programmed in case of emergency (when pressed calls a chosen number(s) automatically and notify someone that the owner is in distress.) It also has a voice recorder - good if you want to make voice notes and don't have a notepad. And, a charging dock is included.Like her old one, the front of the phone has a light which illuminates a little flashing envelope when a message is received, and flashes with a missed call. And you also can program it to press any key to answer a call, rather than when the clam shell is opened. There's also a call blocking feature for when you receive unwanted numbers. They do appear to have removed the quick find easy speed dial on the keypad (buttons A & B), which has been replaced in favour of the larger navigation buttons. You can still assign speed dialling to numbers on the keypad, but it's worth a mention in case you prefer the older style layout. The predictive text is simply vile. Don't know what someone was thinking when designing this. I'd recommend you turn off this frustrating feature in the settings as soon as possible. The navigation of the menu selection is slightly different, but the instructions are easy to follow for anyone unfamiliar with this brand. It's still a very user-friendly phone, with all the necessary/basic functions required. All-in-all, this model is a better design than its predecessor, in my opinion.

Nice and easy set up .
SIM card a bit fiddly to arthritic fingers but managed, just like my old phone but with 4g , still don't know how to use it properly. 83 yo mother's comments as it was a gift .

Simple easy to use phone
Phone is simple and basic. Does what it says on the tin. Unfortunately it came without the stand up charger (one of the main reasons we ordered this phone). Dealing with this seller was nothing but hassle. Still didn't get the charger. Pay a bit extra and get it from somewhere reputable

Ticks all the boxes for those who want a basic mobile phone
For those who want just a basic mobile phone, you won't go far wrong with a Doro. My wife & I used them for years until our daughter brought us in to the modern world with a smart phone, but for our surviving elderly parents, this pone is perfect. Ergonomic, looks smart(ish), not too big, not to small, sturdy, reliable, loud enough. In short, it ticks all the boxes.

mobile phone for seniors
Did not want to change my phone but meets all the new requirements. Never enough instructions for people like me who have received no technical education. Prompt service good value for money.

Easy to use
This phone is great for older people that want something that is easy to use, big buttons that you can see and use easily. I only wanted a mobile so I could make a call or send a text messages so this was ideal for me. The only critisism is that you cannot type the text as quick as I would like but if you dont do a lot of texting like me it wont matter. There was two colours to choose from, navy or red. Good price and excellent delivery.
