Great birthday gift for child who loves legos

There were no missing parts and every part was perfectly made with a perfect fit.If anything, the picture directions were a little difficult to define, at times, but it wasn't awful.

My Mom purchased this Chinook model for my 9 year old son this Christmas. 1622 pieces is a little out of his ability level, so I did a lot of the work.PROS- Has seating for 28 “LEGO” figures.- Block pieces fit perfectly.- This is hands down the most well organized building block/ “Lego style” model i have ever built. The pieces are organized into 7 large “Stage” bags, with each “Stage” bag down broken down into individually packed “Section” bags that correspond to the pages in the instruction manual. I have never seen this level of organization in a building block set.- The instruction manual is extremely well put together and matches the expertly packed building pieces.- 1622 pieces and not a single piece missing.CONS- None other than how sore your fingers will be after assembling 1622 pieces.

I bought this kit for my grandson who loves ALL military.None of the blocks in this kit stay locked into each other, so after paying all the money that I did for it, if he wants to built it for permanent display, he will have to glue it together. Also no response from the company after reaching out. Again, very disappointed

It was a fun kit to assemble. Unlike another reviewer, I found the Clutch Power on the pieces to be quite adequate. Many pieces required a rather substantial amount of push to fully engage the studs. After assembly the helicopter feels sturdy and could be easily ‘flown’ by a child with little fear of pieces falling off.There were a few areas that I kept hitting and knocking off piece(s) so I did superglue those areas.Only issue I had with pieces is that bag #6 was missing two 3X1 Curves and Bag #7 had two extra 2X1 Curves so I was able to swap off with no impact on the final appearance. Other than that, no issue with any missing pieces. And, as is typical of these ‘Lego’ style kits, I had a dozen spare pieces remaining.ORIGINAL REIEW:Disclaimer. I have not yet built this kit so my observations are pre-assembly. I cannot speak to how hard/easy the build is or whether you might have problems during the build, e.g. missing pieces or how tightly the pieces fit together.These 1611 pieces are standard size “Lego Style” pieces, i.e., 2 stud brick measures 16 mm.The pieces arrive in seven large numbered sealed bags which break down as follows:Large bag #1 contains four smaller sealed bags numbered 1-1 through 1-4 along with eight loose black and green plates and one orange assembly tool.Large bag #2 contains four smaller sealed bags numbered 2-1 through 2-4 along with two loose green plates.Large bag #3 contains three smaller sealed bags numbered 3-1 through 3-3.Large bag #4 contains four smaller sealed bags numbered 4-1 through 4-4 along with four loose black and green plates.Large bag #5 contains three smaller sealed bags numbered 5-1 through 5-3 along with three loose green plates.Large bag #6 contains four smaller sealed bags numbered 6-1 through 6-4.Large bag #7 contains three smaller sealed bags numbered 7-1 through 7-3.In addition there are six rotor blades loose in the box.The instruction manual is large and measures 8-1/4” X 11-1/4”. Pages 41 and 42 show the pieces needed for the build along with the quantity of each.Bag #1 pieces are used for assembly steps #1 through #17 (pages #1 through #5).Bag #2 pieces are used for assembly steps #18 through #28 (pages #5 through #8).Bag #3 pieces are used for assembly steps #29 through #43 (pages #8 through #12).Bag #4 pieces are used for assembly steps #44 through #54 (pages #12 through #15).Bag #5 pieces are used for assembly steps #56 through #73 (pages #15 through #22).Bag #6 pieces are used for assembly steps #74 through #98 (pages #23 through #30).Bag #7 pieces are used for assembly steps #99 through #111 (pages #31 through #40)Only issue I have is that since most of the pieces are dark green and black it is very difficult to count studs on the assembly images when assembling pieces together. I will need to remove my glasses and stare closely at the images. That is not a fault of Feleph, it’s just the way it is because of the aircraft’s color scheme.

The finished model has an attractive sleek look. The decal style stickers make it look fantastic. The pieces are well organized into seven bags, each of which has a few smaller bags inside. The manual has large pages, which you need because the colors of the parts are dark. A good light on the manual will help a lot. I have a magnifying sheet to use when I need it. If piece details had been in white instead of black it would have been easier and faster to build, and I would have given it 5 stars. The illustrations and steps are well designed - it's just the visibility of the dark colors that needed improvement. The model is spectacular, and will be a valued part of a military build collection.

This Chinook helicopter makes for a fun (if somewhat repetitive) build! - Plenty of smaller pieces come together nicely to create a really substantial/large model that felt rewarding. For the price, it seems more than fair.In the PNW, we have several of these fly overhead from time to time, so it was fun to have a hand's on build of this aircraft. The real ones are quite big, so it's fun having this model large and in a similar scale to some of the other brick-built tank models. Instructions are far better than some on the market, so building is more in line with what you'd expect from the bigger manufacturers.Building techniques aren't that advanced, and the windshield could have better form, but I appreciate this model for what it is and the value it brings.
