Carnation Perfume The Only True Carnation Scent 2 oz Spray (Eau De Parfum)

When I first sprayed it on my wrist I was leery of the scent----after approx. 10 minutes I was smelling fresh carnations!I am so happy I tried this perfume---carnations are my favorite flower and now I can enjoy them every day.Long lasting scent----very pleased with this purchase..

This smells nothing like carnation. Gave me a headache immediately. Too bad for me I haven't yet learned to not order a fragrance online.

I think this perfume has the essence of a true carnation scent, but it's just not what I want. I'm remembering now-lost perfumes, especially Caron Bellodgia, which I loved, and this is not comparable. There is the clove-y note of carnation here, but I'm guessing it lacks the other blended floral notes that old scents had. On my skin, it's just bitter, though there is a slight whiff of carnation in the air around me. And it may be that the old perfumes, which were expensive at the time, were made with natural ingredients and this, like so many other modern ones, is synthesized and ends up with something less complex and subtle. I've noticed over the years that the first release of something I love (my favorite was Armani 'Mania') get followed up a couple of years later by a much inferior substitute, even from the great perfume houses. But my compliments to the makers of this for a good try, a beautiful bottle, and fast shipping with exceptional protection for the flask in its box.

The only problem I had was the sprayer was so stiff I had to transfer it into another spray bottle.

After a long search for true carnation scent we finally got it, my mom absolutely love it she was in search for a long time but couldn't find one good until i found this one for her, and she says it reminds her of her grandmother's carnation perfume she used to wear at least 70 years ago. I bought this Perfume for years and absolutely loved it but the last time I ordered it I was really disappointed…something changed. It does NOT smell like carnation at all. I sent it back so they could verify something was wrong but they said nothing was wrong with it and it must be me! They would not refund my money so I told them to send it back. They had to have changed the carnation oil or bought something cheaper because it is crap now.

I love this perfume - Carnation fragrane from Smoky Mountain Perfumery. This fragrance is not too strong , yet lasts!
