These vinyl LP coasters actually do look like little mini records with grooves on both sides even. The back side does have a non-slip ring that blends in with the overall look. The non-slip is only really effective if there is weight (from a drink) on it and then it stays put with no sliding, otherwise it is moveable so you can easily slide it into place.In general, they will do a great job keeping water marks off of items, but I would not use on something that is very sensitive to water given there is a hole in the middle that some condensation could find it's way down to the surface you are trying to protect. In my use thus far no water has made its way through that hole yet but something to consider.Overall, these look great for vinyl lovers and people who want something a bit more interesting for a coaster option. People always comment on them as well and take a look at them. The only reason I took a star off is that for this price there are similar options that provide a record player holder option to store the coasters when not in use at a similar or lower price. That said these are not overly expensive and you should get your money's worth if they fit your aesthetic.

It’s a blast from the past, with these tiny replicas of vinyl records. Talk about a total conversation piece! You can protect your surfaces and coffee tables all the while being the talk of your party. Bring back some nostalgia with mini records. Don’t worry about them sliding off surfaces either. They have a rubber ring on the backside to hold them in place. These would make a fabulous gift for the person who has it all!

My wife (and I) collect vinyl records and when I saw these, I figured they would make a nice small extra gift for my wife's birthday.These are tiny realistic-looking records with colorful labels - I am seriously considering trying to actually play the record to see what if anything is recorded on them. The bottom side has a non-slip ring so the coaster doesn't slide around on a table.The only real problem I can see would be if you have a particularly condensation-laden glass - the coaster wouldn't be able to absorb the dripping water. These are mainly decorative anyway, so I'm not particularly worried about it.

So I own a music recording studio and what more perfect fun coaster to use then these little vinyl records?! Our musicians always get a kick out of them. Definitely fun to have around your house or studio, especially if you're a fan of music, and honestly, who isn't?

These coasters are really too cute! The novelty of these is just awesome. They would make a great gift for anyone who loves vinyl or retro stuff. I like that there's 6 of them so they will be plenty to use when I have guests over for dinner or visiting.I give it 4 out of 5 because they don't absorb any moisture at all. The water pools on top and I have to continually pick up my drink and wipe the coaster off. I look at this as more of a cool vibe for my guests to appreciate rather than a super functional coaster. I would not use these on any expensive furniture because there is a high likelihood water will end up leaking on to it.Even with the moisture needing to be wiped off, the design is well done and wiping it off hasn't ruined the look of these cool little vinyl records. Great for vibes and cool points, not super functional preventing moisture from getting on the furniture.Great gift and conversation starter!

As a record collector, these fit the bill for vinyl themed drink coasters. The labels actually look cool rather than cheesy, any record collector would enjoy these! Highly recommended!

Very cute little coasters or decorations--they're exactly like mini records. The plastic is more rigid than I was expecting, but they're obviously not delicate like vinyls. They've got a nice anti-slip ring pad underneath, and they don't stick to the bottom of the cup. There is a hole in the center, like a real vinyl, and I think that's what helps keep it from sticking to the cup. I haven't had any water or condensation leak down through the hole. Great little coasters, I highly recommend this product!
