Beautiful Book, Amazing Setup
This book is so gorgeous, I am always so excited to write in it (the glitter does rub off a little bit but not super noticeably.) The setup of the book is also great, I love that there's a spot for a review, a summary, any notes, favorite quotes and other aspects. This was exactly what I was looking for to keep track of all my books.

Better than expected
This is such a nice reading journal. Cloth cover and gold leaf design is so pretty. Very sturdy hard cover. The inside is spaced really nicely and has the perfect design to track my reading. I love this. I bought two for me and I even went one to my mom as a gift. Probably will be on my list of gifts for birthdays and Christmas gifts. Love it!!!!

Perfect for the reader in your life - even if that reader is you!
I've always loved to read, particularly non-fiction. But I haven't always known how to remember what I read.Originally, I just marked my books the way Mortimer J. Adler taught me. But that didn't help me much once the book was back on the shelf. There was no way to quickly see what I'd read over the past month (or year, or decade). So I started writing brief, sometimes one-word reviews and listing all of my books for the year. While this made it easy to quickly see what I read (and whether I liked it or not) as a glance, that was about all I could do with it.Around a year ago, I discovered a reading journal in a used book store and immediately fell in love with the idea. Since then, I've picked up every reading journal I could find. This was the one that I picked up to use this year - and so far, I'm loving it.Unlike some reading journals, this one doesn't just have a place for recording your books and a small review. It features a number of really cool pages that are designed for lovers of books and reading. There is space to write down books you've read, books you want to read, books you haven't finished yet. There's a space to create a physical book wish list. There are pages for creating 10, 25, and 52 book reading challenges. And then there are dozens of pages that are designed to be used for each book you read. Each book entry includes a space to record a title, author, page count, genre, 'recommended by', start and finish date, 5-star reviews, progress percentage bar, summary, review, quotes, notes, and actions. It's a great little system that makes it easy to record the most important things about every book you read so that you can quickly check out what you've read and each book's key points/quotes.So far, it's been a huge motivation for me to read because I just enjoy the feeling of accomplishment that comes with filling it out with notes, quotes, and more. And slowly shading in the progress bar is particularly enjoyable. If you're a reader and have been looking for a way to physically record what you read, this is the reading journal for you. I plan on picking up several more so I'll have them once this one is filled up.

Great journal with templates for tracking books
I really like this reading journal; it is just the right size. The paper is heavy duty and doesn’t bleed through. The pages lay flat fairly well so it’s easy to write on both sides. There are several template page styles including a couple pages to do a simple daily check to track days read over two years. There are two-page spreads for 62 books to record your thoughts, favorite quotes, as well as the book details. There is a page to record the books that you start but don’t finish, with dates and reasons why – this will be useful because I often forget why I decide that I am not going to finish a book. There are two ribbons to mark places in the book and an elastic to hold the book shut.
