being left handed has given me the right to be quite the pen snob, and i can truly say these pens are absolutely PERFECT!!! there’s no smearing, and so far no issues with the ink skipping out on me. obsessed with these!

These pens are SO satisfying. They write so smoothly, and do not bleed through my notebook pages. They immediately became my new favorite pens.

For the price, these are unbeatable, since you get ten.The design is minimalist, with little effort to make them attractive. You get see-through plastic for the barrel.The fast-drying ink makes a nice line, and there was no skipping as I wrote, though I did feel a bit of drag, which tells me it wasn't quite keeping up with my writing.I would prefer something that gives a bit more ink, even if it takes longer to dry. But I wouldn't hesitate to pick one of these up--or give it to someone in need of a pen.

Save your money and avoid these pens. I bought them based off their asethetic but I cannot write for longer than a fewer minutes before there are disruptions where the pen does not lay down the ink. I don't ever post reviews but I am so fed up that I want to warn others.

These pens are so good! They're light and simple in design, but the quality of writing in clarity and smoothness genuinely impressed me! It writes super cleanly, and I've never had any issues with pulling ink like I sometimes do with other pens. As a left handed person, smudging ink is normally a staple in my writing, but this dries so quickly I never have that issue. I really like these pens, and think they're a great quality for the price.

I'm always looking to decent gel pens. These are a "get what you pay for" kind of thing. The pocket clips break off off easily, but they write well.

So I am a true blue Pen Snob. I will only write with gel pens. So I work from home and have many different brands/models of gel pens that I rotate thru each day. In other words, I use a different pen each day. So I could not pass up the chance to test and review the PurpleWillow Gel Pens. The PurpleWillow Gel Penshas a .5 needle tip. My preference is the .5 tip.These pens are nothing fancy. Just a clear barrel retractable gel pen. The barrel has no markings whatsoever to indicate the brand, tip size, etc. Where you grip the pen has no texture or rubberized material but it still feels comfortable in your hand. The action of the clicker is very precise.Where the PurpleWillow Gel Pens really shine is how well they write. Very smooth! The link is laid down in a nice solid line and I have not encountered any smearing. I write right handed. The ink reservoir has plenty of which should make each pen last a good amount of time. Speaking of ink reservoir, there are 6 pens that have a clear reservoir and 6 pens that have a white reservoir. Obviously, the pens with the clear ink reservoir provides the ability to see how much ink is left in the pen. You can still see the ink level with the white reservoirs, just not as easy.At the time of this review the PurpleWillow Gel Pens were selling for $9.99 for 12 gel pens; that's $.83 per gel pen. Again, these pens are nothing fancy but are a great deal at this price for how well they write. I am glad to have them in my pen rotation. If you are in need of a great writing gel pen, these for sure deserve your attention.
