Holster is poorly made.
The snap on holster is poorly made. The knife fell out the first time I took it spearfishing. The knife itself feels great but I cant say much for longevity since it’s out there sitting on the bottom of the ocean……somewhere…

Wow, what a knife for fifty bucks; sheath could use improvement though
I ordered this diving knife not for diving but as a general tool for survival, camping, self defense and the like. Of course if I ever need to use it around salt water the treated 420 stainless steel suitable for the sea will be a benefit. The blade immediately strikes one as being of very high quality steel. It reminds me of my black steel Air Force survival knife issued to pilots. Being thicker along the center line gives it a lethal stiffness, so it can be plunged hard into filleting a bony fish or whatever you need to do. Very little flex, making tough jobs easier. The blade extends through the length of the handle rather than merely being attached to the handle. This is a sign of a quality knife, and it means there is zero wiggle between handle and blade. The sharpness is of course very good and having one side serrated adds versatility to use it in a sawing motion. The wire cutter is a nice touch, useful not just for wire but for making quick work of random tangles of fishing line and rope-like trash. The balance of this knife seems exceptional, with a super well designed and very comfortable handle. It feels great in the hand; lots of lethal power in a minimalist package. While I don't throw knives this one seems so well balanced it makes me want to experiment with knife throwing. The leg mount feels really commando. For diving, great, but for land use it looks too SWAT for me and could attract the wrong attention. The rubber straps with buckles are really cool and high quality rubber. Never seen anything quite like them, probably because I don't dive. The plastic sheath is the weakest point, quality wise. It is made from a decent but not great quality plastic, so it seems breakable if it suffers a blow. It has a slightly brittle vibe, so unlike the rest of this product which seems to be top quality (for the price range), the plastic sheath gives me reservations. Also during shipping the knife did not stay locked in the sheath but somehow the catch must have gotten depressed so this very sharp knife was just free and loose in the Amazon bag. I inspected the catch and it does work to hold the knife, but it seems like more force should be required on the catch lever to remove the knife. Especially diving, upside down and in currents, I think the knife should be really secure in its sheath, but in the product I received it is not that secure. If the manufacturer redesigns the sheath of a bit better plastic then this product has the potential to be one of the best and most practical knives you've ever owned. Given the reasonable price of currently fifty dollars for a high quality blade, I rate it overall 4.5 stars with the only reservation being that I don't completely trust the sheath for diving upside down. On land I don't think the sheath would pose a problem.

Quality knife
I'll start by pointing out that I'm not a diver, but I thought a water resistant knife would have great utility camping or for just general use outside. I'm amazed at just how useful it is.First, coming out of the box, it's locked into a plastic sheath that's designed to strap to a leg or arm when diving. Pulling it out is a simple push tab, which can be manipulated with one hand. Great design for a diver, and easy access for anyone. The rubber straps seem to hold well, but I'm not sure I'll use them often, as it's a bit of a tactical look. The knife is double bladed, one side smooth, the other has serrations. The tip is pointy and extremely sharp. The knife is light weight, but feels fairly balanced in the hand. The hilt is plastic, but not cheap at all.Overall this is a great knife with a wide range of uses. I can absolutely see how this would be perfect for diving.
