This Dutch oven holds a ton of food and is easily cleaned due to its enamel coating, and since it is cast iron, it is sturdy for sure. I was expecting it to be heavy but it really is not bad at all.You can make a killer pot roast in this thing, and the sky is the limit. I find the color quite tasteful too.

I cannot say enough about this enamel coated cast iron Dutch oven. I was looking for a large Dutch oven and came accross this item. I was given a smaller one years ago that I just never used. I ended up giving it to my daughter because I had never used it and it was taking up space in the cabinet. On a recent visit she cooked the best short ribs I have ever tasted and that's to put it mildly. Later that evening, I ordered this one and had it waiting for me when I arrived back home. Stove top or in the oven, this Dutch oven is large enough for big family meals and the beautiful enamel makes clean up a breeze!

Already used one time. Absolutely love it. I got the 9.3 quart size pot. Great size, great quality and half the price of the other named brand one. Highly recommend!

I used this to cook a 12-pound turkey with veggies (hunks of potatoes, carrots, celery, brussels sprouts) for Thanksgiving. It was a tight fit to get the lid on, so I had to use only a small layer of veggies under the bird ... most of the veggies had to fit around the sides. But it worked fine, and the taste was great! The only issue is that it is heavy ... well, duh! it's cast iron! ... I did have some trouble lifting it from the low rack of the oven, but that is because I'm a wimp.

The Vancasso Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven, 7.5 QT Dutch Oven is a good value for a larger Dutch Oven, perfect for long cooking sauces, from scratch soups, bread baking, and the like. The pot also includes dimples on the underside of the lid, which works great for braising by self basting. A properly fitting lid is essential for the best results in a Dutch Oven, and the first order I received had a lid that did not fit properly. Amazon processed an exchange and in a couple of days I had another Dutch Oven, and this lid fit the way it should. My first test of this pot was my 6 hour Sunday Gravy, and it performed very well.

Love this oven. Room for lots of food and the heat distribution is excellent. The oval shape extends beyond my largest burner but still cooks very well. This will likely be the heaviest item in your kitchen, if that is a concern, go with the smaller version.

The shape of this pan is a nice straight shape. Love it, Even cooking, easy to wash.
