Works Flawlessly
It works flawlessly on solar. It's a 50A 24V unit with a max wattage of 1200W. In AC mode, it can run as low as 200W to 300W, and it can also operate at 600W and 800W, thanks to its variable compressor. This is a 3-mode AC compressor with an adjustable low voltage protector and a timer. In fan mode, you can run it for hours, unlike the older Coleman I had. I went through summer, spring, and fall with no problems. I replaced my Coleman and plan to buy a second one since the price has dropped. I also want to add a hard start, as soft starters are only for alternating current.

Its extremely hard to get it in the right voltage.. complex instructions. Only in celcius
I wouldn't buy again. It's not easy to operate

Great AC. Looks like it came with the rv
Beware. I over kept it without testing and now I'm screwed with it.It drains my batteries rapidly. Err codes appear. Its brand new.Appears well built. I'll have to fix it now.*UPDATE!I must be fair. I had a issue plugging in a final wire and I couldn't see it. Due to being installed in a ceiling 4" thick. The cable does need to be longer. But, regardless it works. Here's the bad still, and why i updated to only 3 stars. This unit is 8500btu. Its burns 900w they say.I bought another 900w unit that is 13,000btu. And it is real...They are night and day different.I suspect this is low on refridgerant too. Because it's overdrawing beyond its 45a rating for 24v.It is sucking my bank down 35% faster than the 13000btu one. Its a red mini split type.(13k)The heater DOES work too. Its 900w heat. 3000btu...This unit is a tad overpriced. Granted the case is phenomenal. Its 2x the price of the minisplit version.I'm going to try and fix it. I had no options after I bought this unit. For 800 bucks it really should be cop 2.8 or 3. Not like 2.2 or 2.4 like it is.The other one is 3.5+*UPDATE 2.The airbox has 1/8" thick insulation. Its embarrassing. No wonder it is bad cooling

0 out of 10 - Absolutely no service, A/C only lasted 6 weeks - SEE UPDATE
It seems like this is a scam from Amazon, they sell it and service it, except they don't - because it's radio silence when you ask for help.UPDATE 4 days later - I did finally receive a response with an offer for replacement or full refund so I updated to 3 stars, still a frustration to have to replace such a large item.2 weeks later - once I was able to email directly with the seller they were very accomodating and helpful, we did get the refund and I moved them to 4 stars for service, I don't know how you get to talk to them without using the review process though. But grateful they stand behind their product.
