I thought I was getting something that would need to be built. You do need to snap some of the plastic pieces together, but the box itself is already done for you. The plastic feels like it would be easy to break. If you have a child doing this, you'll need to help them along. You are mostly placing stickers on it. It would be fun for someone between 6 and 8, but be on hand to take care of the plastic parts that could break.

My 9 years old and 6 years old girls enjoyed to make their own jewelries. It is creative kits and the good money value.

I have two daughters, ages 5 and 7 and they seem to constantly need activities to do. So I went to Amazon to find some kits or something craft oriented. I came across this kit, which is a jewelry maker of sorts. You basically make tiny snow globe like charms, which you can make into rings, bracelets, keychains or necklaces. It’s easy to find the shapes and place them in the correct order after you’ve done it once! The first day we had the kit, I got everything set up and tried it out, and then let my girls take over. The only issue I found is that my 5 yr old daughter doesn’t push the jewel shaped button in the middle hard enough. Some of her charms needed to be pressed together a bit more. Not a huge issue though, I showed her the problem and she was able to make sure that she pushed harder on the button. Both of my girls approved this kit and it was fairly easy to operate for even younger childen. The only thing I may caution about is that the kit includes some pieces which may pose a choking hazard to children 3 and under, so I suggest this would not be a proper gift for younger kiddos. For older ones however, this is a neat kit and almost like magic when you push the button! Price is reasonable as well!

To say this toy was a hit would be an understatement. My nine-year-old granddaughter read the included clear instructions to a five-year-old and they began designing their very own jewelry almost right away. This toy is so creative and unique and the jewelry it made was adorable. It's quality made and I do hope the company makes refills!
