I always uses a base coat first than the glue not only is easy to remove but it’s protected the nails

Q: Does this product cure through gel polish or do I need to use transparent nails?

I would only use it through transparent nails and then do gel polish on top. I don’t think it would cure through polish.

Q: What is the "base coat" they say to use before the glue?

It's simply an acrylic nail prep liquid. All it does is simply helps to smooth the surface and sort of dries the nail so that the nail glue adheres to the entire surface of the nail. It can double the life of the application. Hope that helps
