Needs documentation
The media could not be loaded. This unit definitely generates high voltage. As shown in the video, giving it even two volts produces quite a powerful arc (about 3mm in this run).But given the lack of documentation, I really don't know how hard this unit can be driven or what kind of load it requires. There is no documentation with the unit itself. The only info I can find is in the product listing itself, and that info seems questionable:* The claim is "400kV", but that's not realistic in a unit this size, and the insulation on the output leads certainly is not suitable for anything near that voltage.* We are told that the output is not to be short-circuited, and that it's not to be operated under no-load conditions. What loads ARE acceptable? Can I use this for corona discharge?Without better documentation, I'm hesitant to use this as anything other than a curiosity.

Runs like a champ
The media could not be loaded. With a fully charged 18650 cell (~4.2v), this did not disappoint. 15mm arcs were stable and loud with short pulses triggered by a simple momentary switch. 5 stars.
