Great looking and gives a very unique look to the entrance. PIR works pretty reliably and also the LED lights can be changed, that’s a massive plus for this type of outdoor lights. The lights are weather proof so works fine year round

I am upgrading my review from a premature 1 star to a 4 stars. The sensor will only detect properly at night when it is fully dark. It seems to be both a motion detector and also an ambient light sensor, and at dusk/dawn there is too much light and I had to cover the sensor with my hand to get it to trip. But that being the case, one does not really need the light on at that time. It would be nice to be able to adjust the sensitivity, but there is no option to do this. I am using it as a porch light and it should be noted that the sensor cannot see through glass, and will only trip once the porch door is opened. But I was expecting this to be the case and do not mark it down for this. Installation was difficult - there is very little room in the back box for the cable & connector from the wall, especially if you need to add an extra bit of cable because the wall wiring is not long enough to directly wire into the lamp's terminals.It is an attractive and well made fixture, and I'm tempted to put in a couple of RGB smart bulbs (would be fun for Christmas & Halloween) and have it come on at preset times rather than rely on the sensor.

These are the best lights! Not a silly price and IP65- So waterproof. Good light with various timers, to constant light. Electricial said they were easy to fit. They look and feel high quality and add a great touch to the house. The light looks well too.

I appreciate that the headline is very contradictory but let me explain.This light is well smart and looks really good and expensive when lit up. It gives out a pleasing soft but adequate glow. Visitors have commented on it's appearance outside our front door on how good it looks so I should be very happy. My problem was how difficult it was to install and set up. The back box containing the electrics and pir controls is very shallow and when the electric wiring is connected it is then not easy to push the light on to the box, a very tight squeeze. The next problem is trying to secure the two parts together, they are held by two small machine screws. One has to be screwed down from the top accessed through a very tight gap and the other one has to be screwed up through an identical tight gap. It is not easy trying to get the screw to hold onto the end of a screwdriver without falling off, even when using a magnetic screwdriver. Trying to do this whilst also having to hold the unit together and balanced on steps, with the pressure of the wiring inside pushing it out of place I found it impossible. I also spent more time trying to find the small screws when they had fallen off. OK, i am elderly and a younger person might find it easier but I had to enlist the help of an electrician to finally get the unit put together securely and installed. This should have been a much simpler process, why on earth don't the designers and suppliers give a bit more thought to the design and set up. Surely they could have put the securing screws into a more accessible location, most of the fittings I have had the fastenings are at the side, not top and bottom, perhaps I have just been fortunate before.Now, to make matters worse, the light only comes on when you are practically underneath it, these pir lights are only useful when they come on when you approach a few metres away.The settings need to be changed but they are located inside and there is no way I will touch it because I will never get it back together again. Help!!No, I certainly would not have purchased this light if I had known how difficult it was to install, if only it had been designed a bit better.

Thrilled with this, bit larger than expected but still great. Yes it is a bit fiddly to set/adjust so I didn’t bother and it works just fine. Warm glow from the lamp and doesn't annoy the neighbours.

Easy to install looks high end and works well the only down side is you can't choose the sensor sensitivity level otherwise would have given 5 stars
