Spigen quality. Worth the extra over a cheap case.
Have had several Spigen phone cases.Every one is an exact fit, with excellent workmanship and durability. My Huawei Mate20x has been dropped I would say a hundred times over 4 years.Even now, completely undamaged. Have I been lucky?Nope don't think so. It's been in a Spigen case from day one.Case still looks mint.So getting this for my One plus Open was a no brainer.Made of flexible rubber but with a hard plastic back, I expect it to save my oneplus as many times as the Mate20x case has done it's job.Not the cheapest but then when your case is protecting your uber expensive phone, it's good to spend the extra.

Its good
I like it that oneplus included a case with such an expensive phone, but the included one is flimsy and I was not confident about drop protection. The spigen one is more sturdy and looks better. It has a nice touch with good grip. In case anyone is wondering, the front piece does not have a built in screen protector. I was kinda hoping it did because the one which came fitted on the oneplus open is a magnet for pocket fluff. I would recommend this case, would be 5 stars if it had a kick stand.

Falling apart at the seems
Keep away the case is falling apart from the seems. It's not drop damage as the glue has come loose from the seems.

Not awful but not great
This is my 4th case for my Oneplus Open. The original broke after almost a year of use and the others were far too chunky. So I was looking for a replacement and of the very few available options decided on this.If you're going to use a screen protector then you're very limited on options and so I have not been using a screen protector with this case, it just lifts the protector off the screen. It fits really well and the adhesive strips (spares provided) work really well to hold it in place, particularly the very thin left edge of the front cover. Overall quality is really good and feels solid. However, I do not find it comfortable to hold at all, the construction of the case creates some raised joins on the edges which are not sharp, but not comfortable. The corners on the hinge side of the case however are quite uncomfortable and dig into your hands where the original case did not. Again, there is a join in the construction with a borderline sharp edge to it. I was able to improve this a little by filing that edge down with some fine sandpaper. For a £40 case I'd expect more product testing to be done to rectify issues like that. Only other gripe is I would have liked a slimmer profile on the front case, it can make side gestures tricky at times.I wish I could buy an original case but you can't get them anywhere and the third party offerings are all pretty bad and I suspect that this is probably one of the better cases available, unfortunately.

Not compatible with screen protectors
As a Spigen user for years, I thought I could buy with confidence and didn't mind the extra cost compared to other cases.Unfortunately, the front screen case is not made to be compatible with either full size screen protectors or the reduced size ones; resulting in them being forced to lift when the case is attached.Spigen should either point this out or provide their own screen protector that matches the dimensions of the front case. Will be returning this product for a refund.Given 2 stars as the case itself seems fine if you don't want to use with a screen protector.

Okay before it broke due to external factors
This case at first had a good fit and feels good in the hand. Would be five stars if it had not broken. The front facing single screen case corner broke after six months usage. It was not dropped, I think it just could not handle being put in and out of my jeans pocket over.Spigen customer service will not replace. Have had to super glue it so now look likes a hodgit and bodgit case. Here is Spigen's reply to my request for helpWhile we have reviewed the information provided with the relevant teams, we regret to inform you that we are unable to provide further assistance on this matter as it may have been caused by external factors during usage, which is not considered a manufacturing defect and is therefore not covered under warranty.

Design team only had one job.
Okay I will start this review on a positive note. This case was beautifully made and felt good in the hand. However it's not been designed properly for the Oneplus Open as the frame around the smaller front screen is right on the edge of the factory installed screen protector and as the case flexes on that particular edge it starts to lift the screen protector. So Spigen, sadly it's not fit for purpose in my opinion as I also want to have screen protection.Considering the price this is not acceptable.I returned my item for a refund.

Too fragile
Had it two weeks, first time it dropped the frame cracked. It's not sturdy at all. Super thin section that is very fragile. For 40pounds not worth the money . Not the usual standard one would expect from Spigen
