Richloom Solarium Outdoor Husk Lagoon, Fabric by the Yard

I bought the fabric in Opal, and also in Lagoon and the two coordinated perfectly. The Lagoon is the exact color of the lighter turquoise in the Opal (palm branches) fabric. The colors are bright and vibrant and looked just as I expected from the images on my screen. I made 15 pillows of each fabric for floor cushions for an outdoor party where we seated guests at long, low tables. The fabric does fray as others have said... by all means, do not prewash the fabric before using. I cut out my rectangles, and zig zag stitched around the edges before sewing for extra longevity. I would highly recommend doing this, it doesn't take that long. The first photo shows our table settings, and you can see a bit of the pillows. The second is a better photo of just the pillows.

This fabric is gorgeous. It is durable, beautiful and colorful. Makes great pillow covers. It goes great with my outdoor seating set. Would highly recommend.

I ordered this fabric online which I've never done before and was concerned about not getting to feel it like I'd get to in a fabric store. I was NOT disappointed! The graphics were bright and bold and the quality of the outdoor fabric is great! There was a great selection of patterns to choose from, more so than from my local fabric stores, and the price was almost half ! I was told that it would take 4-6 weeks to arrive and it arrived in less than one week. I am so pleased on every level!

I bought this fabric to build a few housewarming gifts for a friend.I built a firewood carrier (eHow DIY Fabric Firewood Carrier), and a pillow (heytherehome How to Make a Zippered Pillow Case For the Total Beginner).Both look wonderful !Despite being a tough fabric, the texture is not too bad and is okay as an outdoor cushion/pillow, although I wouldn't sleep daily on it.I was able to sew this fabric without any problem on a home sewing machine (Brother CS5055), however make sure you have a sharp needle and go slow.I just wish it was 58-60" wide instead of 54". 54" is uncommon and it feels like the manufacturer is being cheap.

I used this fabric to cover my outdoor furniture pillows. It is year 2 and they have faded considerably, we live in sunny CA. The durability of the fabric and the price were great however and I get many compliments on the pattern. My solution is to save one side, the one that is not faded, for company and let the other side fade away.

I used this to make a cover for my desk chair seat, so I can remove it and put it through the wash. The fabric has absolutely no stretch so it took a few rounds of adjustments to get it to fit properly, and it's not quite as soft as I would like, but it's great quality/durability and I LOVE the pattern. The fabric also isn't too thick, I sewed it by hand without a problem, except for trying to sew through more than 4 layers of it at once.

I reupholstered these chairs with plans to redecorate the kitchen and I love the Caribbean vibe it gave this table. The material was easy to cut, has nice saturation. We have 8 roommates and so far fingers crossed they have stayed clean. It seems like it could almost be an outdoor furniture fabric so I have hopes for it. Would recommend and buy again! I had to buy qty: 2 of this amazon listing. I had extra fabric for sure but it was to make sure I had enough. $22 or so for this was worth the makeover for the table.
