Cute plates, but not sturdy at all. Had to use 3 plates to keep them from collapsing when you put food on them.

I like the design of this Mexican Themed Graduation Partyware. The bright colors in the design contrast nicely against the black background. Both sizes of plates are of medium firmness and should hold most lightweight party foods with ease. While I like the plates in this partyware, unfortunately I don't like the napkins because they smell strongly of mold.I believe that the moldy smell that is coming from these Mexican-themed Graduation party napkins is not mold at all. I think that it is the smell of the dye used. I suppose another option might be that the wet dye or ink was applied to the napkins but not allowed to dry fully before the napkins were packaged. In that case I guess that I was right and that I am smelling mold?Because the napkins smell like mold I can only give this Mexican Themed Graduation Partyware three stars.
