Very sturdy. Don’t know why anyone would be afraid to stand on it. I would suggest not putting on the little pads it comes with if using for a stool as it gives it a more wobbly feel but I put my on not knowing that and still get on it with no problem. It’s simple to put together and only takes 5 minutes to do so. Matches my decor and I use it as an ottoman when it’s not being used as a stool. Throw a round pillow on top and it’s the perfect size for that. Way better than the plastic stools that crack and break. More functional too. If you’re ordering it to use as a table, don’t. It’s way too short to be an end table or nightstand (unless your mattress is on the floor, then it would be perfect). Would make a great plant stand as others have mentioned. I love this little stool for it’s sturdiness and versatility and most of all because it doesn’t look like a stool!

Traditional plant stands can be priced. These stools are affordable, easy to put together (although there are alot of screws), and look nice. The other nice thing is that they are multifunctional so you can always find a use for them in other ways as well. Highly recommend these small tables.

holds a dyson fan with no problem. reading books fit perfectly inside.

I use these in a sunroom as stands for medium-large potted plants. No blemishes, and they assembled with no problem.

These are sturdy, were easily assembled. Once put together though, unfortunately, they look like cheapies:( I'm keeping to use as plant stands and excellent for this purpose).

This stool/stand was very good quality as far as the materials it’s made of (wood top and bottom with metal bars to attach the two pieces of wood) and would be very easy to assemble, but it had screw holes exposed around the inside of the bottom once the stool was assembled, which made it look sort of unfinished or less pretty. I didn’t cate for the finished look. Returned it.
