As a computer tech, I sometimes install things I manage in cases. I'm supposed to be the only one to open them and I'll often seal them with zip ties. If I seal them with these, there's less a chance that they were re-zip tied since people don't have these laying around. They're not as strong as zip ties if that is a concern, but they are a better security seal. I like them and they work great for what they are.

These are very good - they hold with quite a bit of strength,but are easy enough to break. Its obvious if they nave been tampered with, and the tags on them can be written on with a sharpie or similar.Very good, work well, will be getting more

To be honest these are not very good as anti theft devices. They can easily be cut or broken so they only provide a very basic level of protection. What these work well for is to ensure that something has not been tampered or opened. You can use this to secure cabinets or even folders. Personally we have used these to ensure that mail or important documents are viewed only by the intended recipient. For its very specific purpose these work well

These plastic seals serves a visual deterrents. the red is quite vivid, impossible to miss. they are relatively thin. the six inch stem threads through the cap to lock . there are nine different positions so you can accommodate different sizes. They are very easy to break off so these will not stop an even mildly motivated thief. However you will notice immediately if they have been tampered with. We are using them as a "hands off"marker on some of the wheeled carts that everyone wants to grab in the greenhouse. They also work well to secure cabinets.
