Really pleased with this purchase
Nice Deck. I would highly recommend over the Original Tarot made by De Brigh, the Tarot Vintage made by La Scarabeo or any of the US Games versions.Pros: Linen card stock, shuffle easy, original illustrations with Pamela Coleman Smith signature on each card, Love the muted coloring, the texture and the sturdy box they come in.Cons: Not a big fan of the blue and white lily pattern on the back of cards, I wish they would have chosen a more visually pleasing pattern. Guidebook is very basic, black and white, no pics and no reverse readings. But to it's credit, it gives a detailed narrative on the traditional meaning of each card rather than just key words with no reference to the imagery.

Awesome RWS Cards
This is deck is beyond my expectations, from the quality of the card stock, to the calligraphy, to the colors and to the box itself, it is all very nicely done. The card stock is of a good weight and thickness with a nice linen-like matte finish, which is very easy to shuffle, and it fits good in the hands. Highly recommend this deck - it is my favorite RWS deck.

High quality, classic, easy to shuffle
This is the best quality RWS deck I’ve come across. I have a few others and the card stock, color, and clarity of this deck is superior in my opinion. The linen finish makes it easy to shuffle and the cards are sturdy but not too thick. It’s wonderful to handle. Highly recommend as a first time deck or to experienced readers looking for an authentic, well made Rider-Waite Smith deck.

Beautiful Quality Deck
This deck is a wonderful quality, print color, and card stock for daily use. I love the linen finish, and the printing of the deck I received is spot on - alignment, color, and vibrancy. It feels very authentic to the 1909 classic deck. Yes, the booklet does not include a speaking reading for each card presenting in reverse, but it does reference how to interpret with your intuition in the front of the Guidebook ;) I love the quality and weight of the box the deck came in. Recommend fully.

Great Cards
These are great cards based on the original ones. They are thicker and sturdier than many. The colors are more saturated than other repros of the original tarot cards. These are horrible to shuffle, but if you have small hands then you need to shuffle the sides of the cards along their length. Do not bridge shuffle any tarot cards or they will warp, especially the thicker ones. These are compact enough to take on the go.

This should be everyones first Tarot deck - Its the best one
I grew up with the original rider deck made of regular playing card stock and thin box with a dinky book, it was a place to start but this deck is so much better! Just the storage box and manual are worth the price. The cards are very well printed on textured card stock, the kind of stock that high end poker cards are made of. This deck will last for decades of use, it will only look better with use! The small book that comes with it has a decent starting point for each card, not as in depth as the big book, but for a fledgling reader it's a good start.

Definitely worth it!
These cards have a linen finish. This means they are more durable than some other cardstock, and flexible for shuffling. The colors are great. I am not a huge fan of those RWS decks with the too bright colors, this is perfect and gives it a slightly vintage feel. Think along the lines of the commemorative Pamela Coleman Smith deck for colors. This has the white and blue lily pattern on the back. The white is not TOO white. The only thing I would cast as something to consider is that all the cards are slightly zoomed in as compared to those decks from major publishers. Some things are cut off, like the trees in the Lovers card, or parts of the end cups in the 9 of cups. The symbols are still there, just might not be ALL there or kissing the edge. Still completely readable.

Beautiful facsimile Pam A!
Appears to be the same Pam A source deck that Conrad Steyn used. Less retouched, feels "well loved" and broken in. Images are a bit narrower, some colors only slightly darker. Not enough to change skin tones. Lovely linen card stock! Glad I bought two!
