Bought, but not yet fitted, as a replacement for the vent on my BBQ / smoker.It looks to be the same size as the existing one so should be an easy swap - I just need to drill out the existing rivets.Feels well made and turns easily enough but still tight enough to stay in whatever position it is set to.The finish is good.

Easy to install, works well, and the quality is good. The hole in the middle means the vent is never ‘fully’ closed, I guess that might bother some people…

We are using this to make a closeable vent where we have put the gas water heater out by the pool.It has the advantage that you can push it closed so when you arent needing to vent outside, you can save the cold air from coming insideIts very easy to fix in place.They have predrilled the fitting holes.You dont get any kind of fixing with it.Simple and will do the job we wanted it for.The size would make it ideal for adding to a home made wood stove to regulate the air intake on the door.
