Gauge, lines and pump work great. Can tap, not so much.
Easy to set up, line connections and valves are quality enough for the DIY crowd. Valve storage on the manifold is handy.Carry bag is a nice plus.Gauges appear accurate and connections are leak free with a solid finger tightening.Pump is quiet, smooth, and dissipates heat just fine. Came with the pump oil, which is great. The can tap did not work with the R134-A cans. The piercing tip should have been flat, not a point. The tip does not travel far enough into the can the keep it open, even with the valve cranked all the way in and the washer removed. That said, not a big deal. Still well worth the money and the savings you get by doing your own AC.

Exactly the same operation as on Youtube and it works great.
Our extended family has 7 cars, and we were spending a lot of money on having the AC systems recharged and repaired at professional auto shops. After watching many YouTube videos and reading online “how-to” blogs I decided to try doing it myself, and I bought this pump and gauge set hoping it was suitable for the job.The unit seems well built and it surprised me that it wasn’t noisier when it was running. There was almost no vibration from the pump when it was turned on which was good because I had to run the unit continuously for about 30 minutes at a time when I was evacuating the AC systems and the pump stayed fairly cool to the touch - it seems to have good in-built cooling and seems like it has been designed to be able to run for long periods at a time. The only maintenance you need to do is to make sure there is always enough oil in the pump, that’s important. This pump makes that an easy thing to check as there’s a big sight glass right on the front that makes it obvious how much oil is left at a glance. The manifold kit came with good quality color-coded hoses and metal fittings. The instruction manual was pretty clear and straightforward. The manual states that the hoses are fully compatible with R22, R134A, R410A, and R407C refrigerants. I liked that the manifold gauge unit had a hook on the back which meant I could easily hang it from the hood and see what was happening all the time - the gauges are big enough to be able to see exactly what vacuum you’re pulling without having to lean in close all the time. The reading markings are very clear. The valves and other hardware have a good feel and they are easy to operate and I haven’t had any issues with leaks or loose valves. This gauge set is well put together and seems to perform very well. This has been a really useful kit to buy. Once you get over your nerves about doing it the first time, recharging the AC system is pretty straightforward using this pump and manifold set. I’ve done work on 4 vehicles so far and the unit has been borrowed by two friends and the pump and gauge set hasn’t put a foot wrong. It can pull 30” of mercury and hold that for as long as you need it, so it should be good for pretty much any auto AC system you need to service.

Read Sam A.'s review if you're confused
This is a quality kit, with a couple of exceptions.Firstly, the instructions aren't super clear. You can remedy this by finding Sam A.'s review on this product page - he's done an excellent job clarifying the necessary steps. It's not rocket science, and it will all make intuitive sense in the end, but until you've actually done it, you'll probably be a bit in the dark about what all of the different gauges and hoses do. Also watch the video "How to Properly Recharge Your AC System" by ChrisFix on YouTube for a general overview of how this all works. Note that he's using a different manifold which works a bit differently - mainly that the yellow line is used for both drawing a vacuum and adding coolant. In this product, you also have a black line that's dedicated to connecting to the vacuum pump (using an included adapter - the end fitting won't connect directly).Secondly, as Sam A. mentioned, the included can tap is basically worthless. You'll need to buy one for "self-sealing" R134a refrigerant cans that are now ubiquitous, at least in modern vehicles. You can get that at Harbor Freight, any automotive parts store, or here on Amazon. Just search for something like "self-sealing R134a can tap." That will probably have a different thread fitting, but this kit also includes an adapter that connects the tap to the yellow line. It basically comes with everything you need except for refrigerant cans and the correct can tap. That said, the build quality of the pump is decent, the manifold is excellent, and the lines are all sturdy and seem built-to-last. Mine gave me no problems at all as I fumbled through the full repair process over a few weekends. While your A/C system is open/depressurized, it's probably a good idea to replace the Schrader valves on your high- and low-side service ports, at least if your vehicles is older than maybe 5-ish years. These are common leak sources. Also make sure they're still capped. Mine weren't, probably thanks to a scatterbrained mechanic somewhere along the way. You can also find replacement cap kits (often also with common Schrader valves) here on Amazon.Servicing your own A/C is not a particularly simple task to learn by yourself, but once you've done it, it should be pretty simple going forward. It took me a lot of YouTube videos, instructions, trips to the auto parts store, etc. until I had all the right tools and materials to get it done. But now that I've done it and see what's involved, I could probably do it in the future in at most an hour of hands-on time.

Adapters do not work
Great set up and operation. The only reason for 4 stars is because with the automotive the included valve only works on non- self sealing cans of 134a. They should also include a valve for self sealing cans as well!Same with my mini split. The included adapters did not work. I had to use the one I had when I installed the system.

Worth the price. Not industrial but for home use can be used for multiple applications
The media could not be loaded. Works exactly as expected. No problems at all. Shipped adequately and all parts were included and fit as expected.
