Amazing unit - small but mighty
I was a little hesitant to buy this unit as I needed something to be able to link two monitors external monitors to my laptop and extend it so that I can work across three screens. I have to say that this unit worked flawlessly and exceeded my expectations. My setup is my laptop power cable powering this docking station whilst the USB C connector from the unit plugs into my laptop. The extended screen output goes from my laptop back into the unit and from there links to one monitor via HDMI and another monitor via display port. Sharp and crisp images that just worked the first time. No need to fiddle with anything to make it work. Its small and lightweight and can be simply popped into the laptop bag to bring with me anywhere. Simply an amazing unit that I use almost on a daily basis. I've plugged in several different laptops and they've all just worked with the unit. Excellent.

Very capable docking station at a good price
The Mokin Docking Station has seamlessly integrated into my laptop based workstation, enhancing my overall experience, especially when paired with the Samsung G9 monitor. The dual HDMI ports and DisplayPort capabilities effortlessly drive the Samsung G9, with no compromise delivering stunning visuals. At the time of writing, this device was the most competitively priced unit that delivered a 4k @120hz option but you are definitely getting a premium item here. The convenience of 12-in-1 functionality ensures all my devices connect effortlessly, creating a clutter-free setup. The Ethernet connection guarantees stable internet access, and the 100W PD charging capability is an excellent fast charging option. The four additional USB ports and SD/TF card slots cater to my peripheral and storage needs, easy access and keeps everything tidy. The usb c connecting cable is a little short but not an issue for me as the device can still slot in under my desk and being a small size, it's almost invisible. This docking station is very capable and has truly elevated my productivity and workspace aesthetics.

It's ok, not bad and not great
I am just writing this because I know there are people out there with the same questions I had when I bought this. No, it doesn't work for a hybrid setup with gaming and work sharing the same screens. Why? It simply doesn't have enough power to process the video quality and stutters, lags and everything that will drive you crazy if you play PC games. You may say, "So, I will look for a Thunderbolt 4 dock that 100% will work, right?" no, it won't. But he Razer blab blah blah, no, it doesn't work, period. Those docks are not capable of processing gaming speed, FPS, quality, etc., not even one, and if some company claims they can, I doubt it, only if the Dock has its video card, which at this point will cost as much as your setup. So, what is this good for?For work, it works great. I connect my Mac to the thing, 2 monitors, and all my peripherals and bam, it's amazing. For gaming, however, I have a gaming monitor with HDMI and DP. I connect my video card HDMI directly to my gaming monitor, and the second screen is connected via the Dock; it works. It's annoying that when I want to change from Mac to the gaming setup, I need to change the cable connection in the Dock, which is fine. I am not fussy enough to the point of using a switcher. The bottom line is this is fine. I learned the lesson the hard way, but sharing is caring.

Does exactly what I needed. Displayport runs a Samsung ultrawide
I don't normally leave reviews on Amazon but the excellent customer service I received from the seller, I just had to.I own a Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 15 which has a thunderbolt 4 port. I wanted a docking station but did not want to buy a £300+ certified thunderbolt 4 docking station. So the 8K version of this dock caught my eye.I wanted the dock to power my laptop, run a Samsung CRG9 ultrawide 5120x1440 @ 120hz using display port, use the spare RJ45 I had available, and also plug in all the usb devices I have. I took a gamble and it paid off, this dock does all this perfectly.I have no use for the SD card slots, since I have it mounted hidden under my desk as you can see in the picture. Here is a run down of what is connected to my dock:Dock cable connected to thunderbolt 4 port on Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro x 15 (data + power)Gigabit RJ45 connected to ethernet port on dock (speedtest shows I am getting 500mb from my 500mb internet connection)Display port connected to Samsung CRG9 ultrawide 5120x1440 running at 120hz (see picture)USB 3.1 connected to the Samsung CRG9 USB hub in the back of the display, the monitor hub is running a Razer Seiren Mini, and the two usb ports on my monitor stand, one of which is occupied by logitech mouse dongle.USB 2.0 x2 ports are connected to a Creative Live! Cam 2k and Steelseries RGB Keyboard.I did have to use my laptop charger to power the docking station which also powers/charges my laptop. The dock does not get overly hot either. This dock saved me a lot of money.Update: 3 months later still working as it should, was having an issue with my monitor randomly getting no signal and then working again. Checked cables and found the Displayport cable that came with my monitor was at fault. A quick google found that the Displayport cable included with the Samsung CRG9 is known to be of low quality. Bought a better cable and all things working fine.

Originally faulty - UPDATE
Originally a 1 star review. There were a few issues with the original docking station received. I made the seller aware and they sent a replacement. Unfortunately it was sent to my pick-up location but the Amazon system didn't notify me. After a week I messaged the seller who said it was showing as delivered. The pick-up location wouldn't release the item to me because Amazon hadn't issued a pick-up code to me. The seller sent another one to my home address and it's now installed and working perfectly. I recommend the Mokin USB multi port hub and the seller's customer service is second to none.
