Solid wood poles
The poles got delivered to someone else's house, and then once we finally found them and opened the package, the poles had dry mold on them. We hope this is only because they were packed away slightly damp. They seem solid and havent split during the hammering in to the ground. The wood looks nice, and easy to blend into the hedge.

quite good value
these were a cheaper buy than say b&q and wickes. They came with 2 of the ten damaged at the point but when I contacted the company they quickly replied and refunded the price of the two as I was about to do the job. Good height but for a low fence (about hip height) by the time you have knocked them in. The rounded pole and finished top look nice. I put them in with the plastic coated "square shape" fencing wire and I think it looks really nice, and you can easily grow plants and lean/attach trellis against it. I put the posts a metre apart and used small "u" shaped tacs to secure the fencing (these are a LOT cheaper at an independent merchant).
