The media could not be loaded. I’ve only recently found out about Matcha tea so was really pleased when I came across this set.It contains everything you need to make matcha tea, a foaming whisk, 2 bamboo wood spatulas, a small sieve cup & jug. It looks good quality for the money. I’m still waiting for my order of tea to arrive but I’ll update on how well products work when I’ve tried.First impressions though, would definitely recommend

It comes with an attractive ceramic bowl for making and consuming the matcha, a bamboo whisk, a scoop, spoon and sifter and whisk holder. The set is attractively packaged in the box and so would make a lovely gift as well as using it for yourself. The bowl is beautiful and has its place out on my kitchen counter as a result. The whisk works well and has replaced my older whisk that I was using for a few years. The kit doesn't come with any matcha which is its only downfall but it includes everything else aside from match that you'd need to prepare it, even in a ceremonial way. I took a tea ceremony class in Japan once and they didn't even use all of these different pieces so it's certainly on the fancy side for matcha preparation. Overall I loved using the set and would consider buying one for someone as a gift in future.

The bowl glaze looks really nice. The bamboo scoop and whisk and sifter are what you'd expect, well made and functional. I'm not entirely sure about the whisk holder. It's nice and well made, but it doesn't seem to matter how I try and use it, it just doesn't seem very practical. Also not helped by no instructions whatsoever. I would have expected a leaflet or something for any new matcha users since it makes for a nice gift set for someone.
