Love it works off the mic no need to hook it up to your stereo

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this product. First, the unit I was sent was dead on arrival. Couldn't get it to display anything. Second, the unit is advertised as 1U but it isn't. It's actually 2.25 in total height, which means is sticks .25" into the space above and below. That makes it nearly impossible to mount in a standard rackmount cabinet without creating ugly gaps and essentially wasting a 3U space for what should be a 1U unit.I noticed that all the videos on Youtube which feature this unit have it sitting out rather than mounted in a rack. Now I understand why.

I've really enjoyed these lights as an add-on to my hi-fi system. It adds a nice touch of ambiance to the room. I wouldn't call them super accurate, but they are still very enjoyable to use.

This review is for the Decibelvibe TNZ SGVUM6 - Audio Graphic VU Meter with Rear RCA + 3.5 Auxiliary Input and Output, Wireless Input Through a Built-in Microphone, delivered on time and in perfect condition from Amazon.It has a switch on the back for aux / mic but even when switched to Aux, it still blends with the microphone (built - in) so much that it is impossible to calibrate correctly. So if you are looking for cool lights this is the one for you, if you are looking for accuracy you might want to look elsewhere.
