I like the functionality of the retractable design to make it easier to highlight without fiddling with taking caps on and off. It advertises on the packaging that these are guaranteed not to dry out for up to a year so time will tell on this claim.I like that you have the option to underline or highlight over text or writing. It even seemed to do good with highlighting over gel inks once. If you go over the gel ink more than once, then you will get the smearing pictured. Gel ink is never highlighter friendly which is why I tested it and it did better than expected. The ink seems to hold up and doesn't bleed through.

The colors are not as vibrant as the Sharpie brand click highlighters I’m used to. They are also not as “wet” as those. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not. They aren’t dried out, but the lack of wetness keeps them from gliding smoothly. I can feel it gliding against the paper grain. They dry almost instantly. I do like the softer colors. They are still bright, just not as vibrant as other brands I’ve used. The clicking feature is really nice. Once you use the highlighters that click, you don’t want to go back to ones with caps. Great for the office. The clear caps are meant to be removed prior to use.

Each highlighter works great and makes a very consistent thick and thin line, works over my ink fine (the ink I used was from a gel ball point so it always runs a little) and the colors are very vibrant. Hard to capture on my phone camera, but they are saturated and bright while still being highlighters. I esp like that each one has a plastic cap you can put over the tip to help keep them from drying out to fast! Very well designed.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen retractable highlighters before, but it’s a handy design, particularly as it lends itself to storing the pens with their tips facing downwards, which makes the ink last longer. These also have little caps to cover the tips - I’m sure these are meant to be disposed of when you first remove them, but I’m going to attempt to replace them each time to extend the life of the pens.The ink is bright and vibrant, although maybe a tiny bit less smooth-flowing than I’d like.

I use highlighters all day, every day for work, and having retractable highlighters just makes it so much easier to work with. I usually always buy sharpie highlighters but thought I’d try another brand to see if they last longer than a sharpie highlighter does. Usually those will last me around a couple months. These are such a disappointment because they go on SO wet and smear my writing in pen. I believe because they are so unnecessarily wet at first, they are running out of ink so much quicker than a sharpie would. They also dry a much lighter color than they are at first on paper. Do not recommend.

These Zebra Pen, Highlighters are a great set and the colors are really good but they're very wet so the color bleeds through. I used these to mark in my Bible that has fairly thick pages (pictures included) and it really bled through it. They have a pretty smooth line, easy to hold and they're retractable which is great but I'll have to be careful what I use them on. The Value is Fair!

These assorted neon highlighters are perfect for school. I love that they are retractable and they are very good quality. The neon is bright but doesn't affect the writing or reading ability of what is highlighted. The chistel tip makes them very easy to handle and easy to highlight very precisely the areas that you need. I love these highlighters, they are perfect for work or school.

Nice highlighters, they work as intended. It's almost like a pastel like color, not as neon as the other brands. I like the retractable use of this.
