This was exactly the type, size and informative journal about each state that we were looking for. I highly recommend!

I recently decided to start documenting how many states (and national parks) I have visited, so I looked for a suitable journal. I chose this one because of the state maps it contains. I don't like most of the prompts, so I used white out to cover them and replaced them with my own. But since I knew what the prompts were before I bought this book, that's not a major complaint.I did notice that the miniature US map on each page has one state colored in darker than the others - but it is the same state on every page. I think it was meant to be the state of the current journal entry on each page instead.

Just what I was looking for. Plenty of room to write notes.

I love this journal! My family and I are hoping to hit every state by the time the kids go to college. The journal has a map of the States and gives you the opportunity to journal for every state. It asks questions and gives facts about each state. I also appreciate the big Note section they give for each state. We frequent certain states, and it is nice to be able to journal on more than one experience. Great quality, and I would definitely recommend!

I love the full map to color in each state as you visit each state has a state map I marked the cities we visited I love the writing prompts this is perfect I’m adding stickers and post cards lots of extra space

The cover is thick cardboard, very strong, doesn’t bend. The spiral spine is very wide, which is good to open book all the way, the pages don’t get stuck.Each state gets its own chapter entry complete with- 1 full page of map with capitals- 1 page with full in journal entries: Date visited, Reason for visit, Places visited, What I enjoyed most, What I found most interesting, Next trip here I would like to do.- 2 blank pages for notes, with 3 facts boxes about the stateIt’s a great way to document a trip. The pages are thick and won’t bleed through. My only worry is the cover won’t last through the usage, and the pages can rip out over time as it can fall open due to the spiral spine.As a personal preference I would have enjoyed more pages for notes, as I would have liked to put in pictures or momentos.

I wish this included a spot for photos, but these are very nice. I recommend anyone with small kids getting these and documenting your trips so your kids will always remember. It’ll hold high sentimental value. I love to travel so I love these journals.

Nice sturdy journal, illustrations are great, places for photographs,writing prompts are appropriate and thought provoking, but it's not overwhelming as in you don't have to write a book. I bought this as a gift and am so tempted to keep it for myself! It will make a lovely keepsake for your travels and all those little things you might otherwise forget.
