I wish I did a video while repairing my basketball(s). SUPER easy. So much so, that I thought i did something wrong and it would fail. Nope. Worked like a charm! I fixed 2 basketballs in 5 minutes. One was a $75 Nike leather indoor ball I bought 15+ years ago - so like $100+ in today's money. Super good quality leather, hence my apprehension of throwing it away. I tried ball slime twice and plugging the valve manually, but nothing worked...until now. The other was a Costco Synthetic leather that leaked 3 months after I bought it. I know, Costco will take it back. But since I bought this kit anyway, I figured I'd save the ball from the dump and revive it.Hints:When removing the old valve, make sure the "hook" is all the way inside the valve before you try and pull it out. Also, angle the hook upward and try to pivot the handle slightly downward. This will help the hook "grab" the valve when pulling.When trimming the valve with the snips, use a long nosed pliers to gently pull on the valve. This way, when you snip it, it will be flush with the ball surface. No need to pull hard! Just enough to have the valve retract at or slightly below the surface of the ball. I set the ball on the floor and the weight of it was more than enough to keep the taught enough. This also makes cutting the valve easier - one snip...DONE.

These tools are very easy to use, after I changed a new valve, my basketball never leak again!
