This face mask covers my nose and mouth very effectively, and the soft silicon seal is very comfortable as well as improving the fit. It appears to be well designed and good quality. It should provide reasonable protection against dust, but I don’t think it will help with chemical fumes.I was able to wear my glasses at the same time as wearing this mask, although they did steam up a little bit which makes me worry that the fit is not quite perfect. I might need to play with that a bit more.The filters can easily be replaced when they clog up and a pack of spare filters is supplied.There was a lot of Chinese writing and very little English writing on the packaging and it’s hard to work out what any instructions mean and whether it complies with any particular safety standards.I have done so many jobs where I should have worn a mask like this and I’m really happy that finally I’m going to be looking after myself.

I use double sided filter masks alot for the work I've been doing with clearance and diy. I had high hopes this would be more comfortable to my usual mask as it's alot smaller, but sadly it wasn't.I also found that it was letting in a little bit of plasterboard dust and so really wasn't suitable for that task. I think if you were only wearing it for a short period of time and working with a non toxic dust it would be ok, but there are definitely better versions out there so I wouldn't recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Found this easy to breath through, did it's job when sanding, like the way the soft clear rubber part moulds around the face so no gaps, the distance from the top part that goes over the nose down to the bottom that sits under the chin is about 12- 13cm, not stretched, but this part is flexible and can stretch a little, there is a good gap between the end of the nose and the mask. The band that goes around the head is able to go larger than the biggest head size but also very small, the part that goes behind the head can open up as it's hinged for a more secure fit, as you can see from my video the filter is very easy to replace, it comes with a pack of 10 spare filters. No English writing, picture instructions on side of box.

I am currently trying to build up my home DIY KIT. This respirator set is ideal for any sanding jobs or any kind of work where you don't want to get the fumes into your mouth. The quality seems to be adequate. Although not the best respirator it does look as though it will do the job, it fits well, and there are also some spare filters included. It is easy to adjust the size by adjusting the straps. Overall, this is excellent value for money and I would recommend.

At first glance, this respirator looks really impressive and well-made. It comes with a pack of 10 spare filters, 11 filters in total, as one is already fitted inside the mask. The filter fits inside a cage on the front of the respirator. This has a hinged cover that clips into place on the side. It’s easy and quick to open and close, allowing you to easily change to a new filter, as and when needed. The advantage of this system is that it keeps the filter away from your mouth, unlike disposable ones that touch your mouth.Once you’ve finished using the respirator, if you remove the filter, you can wash the entire mask in water to thoroughly clean it. However, there seems very little point in producing something that should last for a long time, when you can't source any replacement filters. I've searched the whole of the Internet looking for the manufacturer, the factory, and model number, and have looked on various different sites. I found a filter that looks very similar, but it's a lot wider, so it definitely won't fit this model of respirator.It's such a shame, because once you've used the filters, if you can't manage to find any replacements, the respirator will have to be thrown away and replaced. My husband tested this respirator for me, and commented that he didn't find it as comfortable as a disposable mask, and also doesn't really trust the filter. We usually use 3M ones, which are a known brand, that meet UK safety standards. The filters provided with this respirator are of an unknown origin, and it's unclear if they meet the same strict standards.When my husband tried this mask for sanding some wood, it did let some dust in. He commented that it wasn't a very good fit around his nose. Unlike the disposable masks that have a metal strip inside, which you pinch around the bridge of your nose to get the perfect fit and seal for your specific nose size and shape. This respirator has a soft and flexible silicone inner section, that loosely follows the shape of a generic nose and chin, but it's one size fits all, with no means to make any slight adjustments. This meant he was unable to seal the mask more securely on the bridge of his nose in order to keep the dust out. It does have plenty of straps that can be adjusted to secure the respirator firmly in place, but it felt uncomfortable to wear. I therefore wouldn't recommend this mask unless you are doing light work that doesn't produce a large amount of dust, and are prepared to throw it away after you've used all the filters.

been using the same face mask for years and it’s now looking a bit worse for wear. And it’s ready for the bin. Having seen this Tocado respirator I only wish I’d binned the old one a long time ago.The first thing that struck me was how well made this mask is and how easy it is to put on. It’s clean cut, slightly angular built into the more traditional curved lines. I know looks are irrelevant compared to the all important safety aspect, but it does look good! And then there’s the efficacy of the unit. I used it with a 9” grinder to cut some slabs in the garden, and whereas with the old mask my nose would have filled with gunk after using this Tocado one I was as clear as a bell.One minor point, that I know isn’t going to be an issue anytime soon. Replacing the filters-I searched on Amazon for Tocado replacement filters and came up with nothing. That said, I’m sure there will be plenty of generic filters that will fit.For the price-£13.99-I think this Tocado dust mask is as good as they get.
